    Pros +

    • This small boutique hotel exceeding our expectations. It is a comfortable short walk to the seaside boardwalk which has tons of restaurants and bars. There are small alleyways everywhere you turn with shops, coffee shops and bars. We could only stay one night but would have stayed longer if possible. The staff in the hotel was great (little English, but enough). Rooms were very clean and updated. The included breakfast was great. Would highly recommend.
    • Perfectly located for my needs, didn't expect to have parking but they have 5 spots in the back of the building. Just great for my needs and a fair price.

    Cons -

    • We were there on a Friday night and jetlagged, so the noise outside went on until about 2am but that wasn't horrible, just something to mention. The streets are tight, so the noise is on top of you but that is also kind of what makes the little seaside town charming.
    • I guess during the summer when its really busy, parking might not be available and also it can be a little noisy. But during my stay, I had no issues.
    • We didn’t realize we needed to reserve parking and we were there on a very busy weekend.

Delightful staff, good food in the morning for breakfast location. Air-conditioning is adequate to sleep well.

Breakfast was excellent. Location was perfect as we were attending the International Choral Festival of Preveza. It was a quick walk to the best restaurants (great recommendation from the front desk staff). Location was optimal for attending all the festival events. Quick walk to all the different locations. It was a little loud because of the bar across from the hotel. But the hotel was very honest about the noise and I was able to ask for a room away from the noise. It was quiet, I didn't hear the music. One of the members of my choir had a room too close to the street/bar. The staff was really good about it and luckily was able to accommodate her by switch rooms. They were total pros about it and handled the issue.

It was really hot outside and the thermostat could not be set lower/colder. But not a big issue as I had a handheld fan that help. Otherwise it was very comfortable once I stayed still and cooled down.

The ambiance is charming with many elegant design details from architecture to decoration. The staff are extremely helpful and resourceful. My friend's room is facing a very noisy street. So we asked if she can switch to a quieter room. The staff were very understanding and moved her to a quieter room. We get a restaurant recommendation from the staff. It was so delicious that we went back 3 times! The hotel is steps away from seashore walk path. Half an hour before sunrise is unbelievably quiet and beautiful.

The bar across the street is very noisy with loud music until midnight. Try booking a room not facing the street.

I loved the Captain's House! It's just a wonderful place to stay especially for exploring downtown Préveza. Had just been on Lefkada, so didn't do any sightseeing. Stayed one night before my flight onward, but would love to go back and explore the town a bit more. Comfortable beds and linens, everything very clean, great location. Nice breakfast. Wonderful staff. Very safe and quiet, and the AC was nice.

The walls preventing shower spray aren't big enough and the entire bathroom was soaked, even though I tried to keep it dry.

Lovely boutique hotel in a perfect location. Warm and kind staff who were extremely helpful. The value of the room was through the roof, felt so much more luxurious than the price would suggest

A comfortable, small, dark room because the shutters had to be kept closed due to people walking past the window.

We booked 2 nights here in March. Our room was on the ground floor. Even in March the room was very warm and humid. We opened the window to try to cool down and sleep, but the loud music which went on till 1.00 am, kept us awake so we shut the window and turned on the air conditioning. Unfortunately it just blew out more hot air. I called the hotel and was told the the AC is turned off for the winter. We had a terrible nights sleep and decided, in these circumstance, we could not stay another night. We asked the hotel owner for a refund of the second night so we could go somewhere else. He agreed to refund but asked that we do it through Booking.com. All was agreed with the hotel and Booking.com. To date we have not received the refund from the hotel. Booking.com tell me the the hotel is not returning calls or emails. This all smacks of very sharp practice indeed. We visit Preveza all the time but will not be staying here again.

We stayed once before in February so we were happy to return. Unfortunately we had storms so our ferry from Italy was delayed. The owner was concerned and contacted us to make sure we were ok. Sadly we missed one night of our stay.

The location is ideal, staff are very friendly, rooms are lovely, bed linen of high quality and breakfast was superb.

Pleasant well maintained boutique hotel in Preveza old quarter, well run, good breakfast.

They cannot do anything about this, but be aware that there are only 5 car park spaces and 9 rooms, and that getting anything larger than a Polo or Clio in to the car park is impossible. Even a Polo is a tight squeeze.

Friendly and very helpful hosts, fabulous lounge area, lots of small courtyards to sit out in xx
