Hotel Plazaola

Staff is great and very welcoming!! The room is very comfortable but are not soundproof, in the morning was a little bit

Well located as a starting plae towards the inner Spain country side. Genuine Spanish cafeteria.

The town itself is forgettable.

We stayed here while cycling the Vía Verde de Plazaola. Staff were very accommodating in terms of helping us to store our bikes and also in terms of getting into our rooms early. This was much appreciated, as we were cycling during a very hot period and were very glad to have our rooms made available to us.The café/bar in the hotel is great for guests and for locals. Nice fresh food.

Lovely hotel, just off the motorway, perfect for travelling through spain. Very friendly receptionist, hotel had a restaurant and a bar. dog friendly, although not allowed in bar and restaurant you could sit in the lounge area and have a drink or food. Lovely room and bathroom.

Noisy in rooms, next door and surrounding, it just so happens that a lot of people turned up the same day for a gathering, so lots of banging doors, walls quite thin, but you seem to get that a lot now in hotels. It isn't a reflection on the hotel though as it was very nice.

Nice hotel, good location, good bar, restaurant, and onsite parking. Room 222. Not enough room to comfortably walk around the end of bed. Needs a better shower head with finer spray.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. The bar / restaurant is vibrant and lively with good food and good value for money.

Easy to get to from the motorway. The hotel facilities were very good clean fresh and welcoming.I had my cat with me and there were no problems at all. I took everything I needed to the room and the facilities were brilliant for a pet friendly hotel. Better than I thought.There was even a bath this was a bonus. Breakfast was very pleasant continental with lots of choice

Bar and restaurant was not open till 8pm

The hotel, room and all public areas were all very clean and comfortable to be in. We had our pet dog with us and whilst he was not allowed in the eating areas there are tables/seats just outside in the wider reception area that we could eat quite comfortably and have him with us. Dog's are not allowed to be left in the hotel room. It's a great hotel to stay en-route to/from southern Spain.

Nothing of particular note. It is a very clean and comfortable hotel.

We have stayed here many times before, it is a very friendly hotel especially as we have a dog.We ate in the lounge area of the hotel as we had our dog with us and obviously cannot use the restaurant? However the food and service was superb.Highly recommended

Clean and close to motorway. Ideal for a 1 night stop off.

There was a misunderstanding between staff in reception and restaurant. As we were recurring customers the receptionist was very accommodating until we went to restaurant and the waiter was very rude to us. However this was resolved amicably.Due to the date we stayed, in December, the cafe,bar was closed for 2 months. However the receptionist served us with our requirements.

we have stayed at the Plazaola a few times en route to Southern Spain. We always take our pets and the hotel is very pet friendly. The rooms are spacious, well furnished and very clean

A modern pet friendly hotel set in a mountain village. Staff were friendly and the food in the restaurant was very good. Dogs are not allowed inside the restaurant but there is a separate pet friendly seating area where food can be served.

Lovely hotel for an overnight en route. Room big and comfortable. Good restaurant.

Only issue we had that stopped it from being a perfect stay was not being allowed to leave our dog in the room. No dogs allowed in restaurant but they have an area to eat accompanied by the dog.

The hotel was spotless, the staff where very friendly. Excellent food and value for money. Couldn't fault it.

Very nice e lively in the summer small hotel. Friendly staff. Easy to find and good location for a night stop when travelling by car through Europe. Small but perfectly comfortable room. Very good value considering the facilities and compared to others.
