Pros +

  • Great locationGreat ownersGreat facilities
  • The entire staff, especially Lea, was incredibly kind and friendly, they did their best to fulfil every request. That's the best part and we are very grateful for their hospitality. The location was quite convenient and the pool was a great bonus.
  • Everything was great !Beach across the street, with lounger and towels included . Port was walking distance .

Cons -

  • The breakfast could vary from a day to another.
  • The facilities are rather dated. The shower didn't have an overhead handle so we had to shower while holding the shower head in one hand. But after a little renovation, the hotel would be perfect!
  • The only thing we didn’t love , but couldn’t be helped , was their famous restaurant was not opening till June 10 ( and we left in June 9 th lol ) - every review I read raved about their wood oven fired pizza ! Unfortunately some previous bad weather ( dust storms ) had set back their schedule to open . It was a lot to clean up after . But it would have been nice to not always walk into harbour or take bus to Chora for dinners . Owner recommended a meze ( share ) plate restaurant on far side of harbour , called Octopus- and others guests we had chatted with raved about it ( I unfortunately was ill for last three days ( nothing to do with hotel ) and we didn’t make it there . There are a few places just a door or two down from hotel , but they were not impressive . One in port square was good ( owners daughter ( Leah ) suggested it , but I forget the name , ask her , she’s very helpful ! Other than wistful disappointment ( over not getting to try pizza ) everything else was lovely !

Lovely hotel , the grounds ,gardens lovingly tended by owner Sharon ( and her family ) - pool is like an oasis . Comfy lounge chairs at beach and pool and towels provided . There was also a kiddie pool - although we did not see any children ,Our initial room was a bit small for us , but they were able to offer us a much larger room with kitchenette for a reasonable upgrade . Our room faced the ocean and had a huge deck with comfortable wicker chairs and an umbrella and clothes line . Well worth the extra money . The ladies who cleaned our room did a good job and also cleaned all the common areas. Breakfast was simple , but offered both hot ( scrambled eggs, sausage , pancakes ) and cold ( meat , cheeses , yogurt , fruit , many breads and sweet cakes , plus a machine you could make espresso , lattes , cappuccino etc ) . There was fresh cut bread each day , as well as the usual commercial choices , and of course delicious Greek honey , jams , and nuts . There was some children’s cereals also. The selection did not vary much each day but it would be easy to choose many good things to eat . The cotton is right across from the beach ( and chairs are free for guests )

The only thing we didn’t love , but couldn’t be helped , was their famous restaurant was not opening till June 10 ( and we left in June 9 th lol ) - every review I read raved about their wood oven fired pizza ! We loved absolutely everything. What a fabulous place. From the staff, accommodation, the pool, the dining and the location. My husband had visited in 1978 and was on a trip down memory lane. To find out the same people owned the hotel was amazing! We will definitely be returning soon!

Lovely authentic hotel in the beach in IOS. Great owners - very personable and accommodating. Excellent food! World renowned pizza!! Quaint rooms. Fantastic experience.

Absolutely nothing!

The hotel is in a perfect location, beautiful pool and gardens , great having the beach on your doorstep with free sunbeds/umbrellas, waitress service on the beach .The hotel also has a restaurant with amazing Pizzas and menu .

The bedroom decor is a bit tired We stayed in two of the bedrooms and in both you had to hold the shower head ! Could do with updating , also horrible smell in bathroom !Breakfast was disappointing, same thing every day , no lovely Greek feta spinach pastries etc

This was a surprise little gem of a location and accommodation. It started with the most delightful, welcoming and lovely hosts - Sharon and Leah - most beautiful people! We especially enjoyed the breakfast that was a combination of local food and good old scrambled eggs and sausages - all included in the room rate.Really felt like a proper holiday - beach (with sunbeds and umbrellas - free) literally across the road, wonderful pizza resturant, lovely, clean pool and sunbeds. Just the total package. Location was only 5 mins walk from the port where ferry arrives. 10 min walk, up the hill to Chora village (main centre, lots of shops and food outlets). Highly recommend the Corali for everyone - we will be back!!

Nothing - it was all great.

Lovely hotel, well kept, wonderfully comfortable with possibly the most comfy beds in Greece! Very welcoming and friendly. I arrived the day after having a nasty fall while staying in Naxos, and Sharon and her daughter Lea were so helpful, making sure I had ice and even going into town to collect my prescription. My room was spotless and cozy, with fabulous views across the port. The restaurant served lovely food and the pool was excellent. I particularly liked all the extra artistic touches in and around the property. It was all beautifully decorated and was clear that a lot of loving care has been put into the whole place.I had a lovely stay!

The only negative ( which was nothing to do with my hosts or my accommodation) was the smoke and fuel smell that waft over from the ferries. Not so great if you have respiratory issues.

A well designed property with beautiful gardens, swimming pool, outside dining area with traditional pizza oven and an expert pizza cook.

A small hotel with a big heart. Beautiful grounds that are well maintained. Spotless rooms and guest areas, attention to detail clearly the owner's priority. Great restaurant on site offering food using local ingredients. Great location, central to everything. Good beach across the road. Friendly staff, service with a smile.
