Poseidon Hotel

This place is spotless, new Towels and bedding everyday, room had quiet a/c comfy bed, and plenty of hot water from the shower, pool was warm and clean and the swim up bar manned from 10 am every day. Hotel is close to port area, but quiet, close to bars, bakery and restaurants, nearest beach 200 ,

There is a climb up some steps to the Hotel but this is an Island and IOS is hilly, its proximity to the centre outweighs having to walk anpy distance home

The staff, especially Marina went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Close proximity to the port and plenty buses to get round the island.

Nothing however patrons should be aware there are 54 steps up to the hotel so not good if you have mobility problems.

Our stay at Hotel Poseidon was amazing! Perfect location extremely close to bus stops to Chora town, brilliant pool and bar and so clean! Marina really made our stay so special. She was so kind, fun and was available whenever we needed. It was a pleasure to get to know her and we will absolutely be returning soon. I would 100% recommend this place if travelling to Ios. Great location with exceptional view of port area, walking distance if arriving from boat. Cool bar, swimming pool and games room area. Exceptional staff with Marina and family going out of their way to make us feel welcome, meeting any requests and helping us with our stay.

The room we stayed in felt a bit dated but was very clean. Price was high although we stayed during high season.

The hotel has a beautiful view of the harbour, simple but well put together rooms and fantastic pool and communal facilities. The host Marina really made our stay; she was brilliant! We had the best time and hope we can come back soon.

The location of the property is ideal! So close to restaurants and within walking distance to the town or could get the bus which was 2 minutes away! Marina was an exceptional host and was constantly checking in on us and ensuring our stay was the best it could be. We felt at home in this lovely hotel. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

Beautiful property and beautiful family that owns it. Very much enjoyed the stay just because of the hospitality that was offered! Would definitely stay there again but due to our sailing trip had to only stay one night sadly. Looking forward to staying there again!

The staff were amazing! Alina took care of everything we needed. The location is close to everything, including a bus stop that takes you to other parts of the island

Not their fault, but the stairs to get up and down the property were rough to deal with

Marina was so accomodating to our very large group of 15. Her and her husband helped us with our bags. Pool was lush with a swim up bar with mojitos. Felt like a million bucks.

Rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels.

Great location, clean rooms and nearby the port. The staff was super friendly and ready to help you all the time a special shoutout to Marina! We will come back! Thank you for everything guys!

Twin Beds are not very tall people friendly

Paradise Found! I stayed for 5 nights at this hotel with my teenage daughter. The hosts (Marina and Spyros) were very helpful and thoughtful; made us feel very welcome. Our room was well maintained and very clean (with daily cleaning service), overlooking the marina, and the bay with beautiful views of the sunset from one side and the picturesque Ios Village (Chora) on the other. Nice communal veranda to chill out and take it all in! Nice swimming pool and decking area. Very close to the local supermarket, Yalos Beach, Ktel Bus stop, and local bakery, taverns, and cafes. Good Wifi.

The hotel was in a great location and my friends and I had a lot of fun there. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating and were a lot of fun, especially the hotel manager Marina. The air con in the rooms was beautiful and we did not have any issues with it malfunctioning. We cannot recommend Hotel Poseidon enough.

Marina and her husband the hosts were absolutely brilliant, we cannot thank them enough. We were a group of 6 from Ireland and they made us feel welcome from day 1! Would definitely advise anyone coming to IOS to stay here, the location is excellent and a lovely poolside bar is at the hotel also.

Very clean facilities. Reception staff were helpful and approachable. I would recommend this place to any of my friends who wish to visit Ios. Location is good with bus stop close by and within walking distance of town.

Nice hotel bus going to main town very frequently. Pool was nice and quiet

Nothing!

We liked being close to the port and having lots of nice restaurants nearby. When we did want to venture in to town there was a nearby bus to take us up, and walking home at night was easy as it was down hill. Being uphill also gave us a beautiful view of the port.

It was hard to carry the luggage up the stairs.
