Hotel de Charme 'zum Schiff'

Staff super friendly, the hotel is very romantic and beautiful. Breakfast was good and with a lot of choice. There is a shed for storing the bikes with electric plugs.

It is a very nice and charming hotel! And the staff are very attentive

For some double rooms, there is no door separating the toilet, and some couples do not really like that.

The room was very nice and the bathtub was very cute.

We did not see anyone in reception in the hours they told us they were going to be there. However, we managed to do the check in autonomously Breakfast was a bit expensive (17 per person)

Interesting design

Very old place. You walk in the room and you hear the floor squeak. Bathroom is a part of the main room, no separation. You hear cars and bikes on the road. When somebody walks on the floor you hear everything as if there is no door.

Breakfast should have more variety

Very close to the airport, quiet town and lovely sorroundings. We received a ver warm welcome. Hosts were friendly and very helpful with all our needs. Rooms was spotless clean and we love the decoration. The garden was lovely even tho the season. We had a fantastic time in this property. They offered us breakfast but we had to leave early in the morning so I can't comment on that.

Breakfast was good - could do with fresh juice, though. Quiet and quaint and very cosy.

I would have liked a shower instead of the bathtub.

Very nice hotel and authentic style a place to see close to the France border. A lot of green and possibilities for watersport activities ?.

breakfast options were few, but fresh and good. I was surprised that they could not serve some products 1 hour before the end of breakfast time. The weekend is the busiest time for hotels and it is the most important time when they should not have any problems in product supply. If you come to the hotel at night, there is no sign and direction, navigation is not very useful, you have to find it by yourself.

Really quaint, great location for visiting Colmar, Strasberg and Baden Baden. Very helpful staff.

Location perfect for me, but I won´t stay again.

I was the only guest, though booking.com indicated only one room was left. I was put in a converted stall, perfectly comfortable, which is OK when the hotel is full, but I have to say I was disappointed not be in the main hotel building. "Typisch Deutsch", the customer gets what is convenient to the service provider.

It is very well appointed with careful attention to detail. Lovely antiques throughout. I especially loved the old wood floors.

Some guest reviews complained about the parking, but it is fine. The hotel has dedicated parking spaces at a bank just a couple minutes walk away.

Super cute rooms, decorations, and furniture. The ambiance felt cozy and authentic, someone put a lot of though into it. Loved the honor bar in the living room.

There were no good restaurants in the town.

The hotel is very charming and the staff were lo very welcoming and helpful. The rooms have a lot of charm and the overall feeling is of an old but high quality country inn. The hotel is very convenient for the A5 but is definitely a more comfortable and characterful stop over than a modern chain hotel.

Parking is limited but I was fortunate to be able to park directly in front of the hotel. No restaurant option on site, but there are several good dining options nearby.
