Pros +
- The hotel location is good for walks in the nature. The village of Horche is a little more than 1 km away, but the walk there is quite steep uphill. Horche is a typical Spanish village, with a few bars/restaurants, but there is not much happening there. The hotel restaurant is good, but there were only us and another family present when we ate there. There was a nice pool and outside area, but this was, of course, closed for the season, when we were there in October/November.

- Nothing much
Cons -
- Everything was as expected.
- No elevator, lots of stairs to floor 2. Breakfast started at 9 am so we missed it because we had to start earlier, although they did leave coffee and some rolls with jam.
- Far away from city its in middle of nowhere old out dated building , over priced.

The place looks better than it looks in the pictures. Amazing location. Air conditioning wasn’t great and staff very dedicated. The restaurant is top notch, great food.
I wish the rooms had mini bars.
The staff were nice and helpful, the breakfast was good too.
There is no lift and the shower in the room is old.
Always welcoming to our dogs. Food excellent this time we chose to dine in the bar with the fire burning. Breakfast delicious.
Stayed here previously as it was so good. A bit in the wild but lovely setting. Good sized room & bathroom with piping hot water, so need to be careful. Manager very helpful. Great choice of dinner menu & very very tasty. Best to eat in

Type of property
We have stayed here before and our dog stayed for free.We rebooked for a stay on our way back to Uk and on arrival were charged €18 for our dog, that was never explained to us, and I showed them we and other guests had not had to pay for their dogs before as quoted in their description of the hotel. So to add this to our bill was upsetting and we will now not stay there again and can not recommend this stop over to others.
Very Spanish rural full of character. nice area. you will need a car - or bike
