    • We loved the location and the Hotel in general. We recommend you book your stay directly through the Hotel's website and not through a 3rd party vendor. The breakfast and dinner offerings were tasty though somewhat limited. Our room was comfortable and roomy. The balcony was nice but we didn't really use it much. We plan to stay here again on our next visit.
    • My wife, children and I liked having separate rooms with showers. They are really comfortable and have air conditioning. The Jacuzzi, sauna and guest shower are all great. Our kids enjoyed staying there and told us that they would come again the following year. The half-board option is great value for money. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. It takes around 12 minutes to walk from the hotel to the thermal lake.
    • I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly, especially Bedjamin. He was genuinely helpful, warm and attentive. The location is perfect - just a short walk to the lake. Very good breakfast and dinner. Beautiful big room.!have stayed at this hotel three times, and I will definitely come back again.

    Cons -

    • We had an issue with our air conditioner and we had a week of very uncomfortable temperatures to deal with. . The hotel was apologetic and offered us free parking as compensation. They finally fixed the A/C near the end of our 10-day stay
    • The only problem is that the fee, which is only for car parking around the hotel, is not included in the price.
    • Breakfast underwhelming.

Solid old-school hotel in central Hévíz. Does what it says on the tin, no complaints!

    Breakfast underwhelming.

    6ZsoltPosted on: 4-21-2025

Everything is very close.Staff was very friendly and looking forward to help all times.Dinner was surprisingly good 2 out of 3 times.

3rd floor bathrooms need renovation + isolation. Neighbor room's shower noise woke me up with the loud metal bath tub. Parking is kind of a challenge with the square being rebuilt at the back of the hotel.

Nothing, this was the third and far the worst stay.

Rooms full of ants, balconies not cleaned. Balconies are not separated and one feels insecure to leave them open at night. Food was basic and not really tasty, no variety to choose frim.

The location of the hotel is excellent

The breakfast was at a good level, unfortunately the dietary requirements for two people were not implemented at all, even though three lactose-free cheeses were found in the kitchen.

The staff are very nice and polite, especially the lady at the restaurant. The breakfast and dinner (part of the package) are decent. We love the desert every night. The hotel is quite close to the thermal lake.

There are over 50 stink bugs in the room. We're killing it for hours in the first night. We called the front desk at the night, a man came and told us he couldn't do anything, since it is everywhere. We asked for another room , even downgrade to standard room in another building, but he said they were the same. He spoke poor English, so we really couldn't talk much and he left. If it was not in the mid of night, I would left the hotel. After two hours, we killed 40+bugs. There were new bugs kept showing up! The next morning, after breakfast, we killed another 10+. The it seemed clear of bugs till the next day. The building we stayed (1bedroom) was almost empty, and the outside of building needs repainting. Anyhow a hotel should not depending on it's guest to disinfect the room! It should not pass the hygiene inspection.

Good value the half board, is nothing fancy, but the food tasty. They have soup, main course, salad, and desert.

Outdated building, no wifi in the room.We came to visit Heviz lake, dont spend here more than a weekend. Even the thermal spa building outdated, but is not the hotel fault. I still think good value the room with half board.

    3BrigittaPosted on: 4-10-2023

its good location, its ok food, nice staff.

Very old outdated, need a big renovation specially the bathroom was rusty with black moles. The window wall was soaked. The sauna need to be booke in advance however the time what we booked the staff forget to start which incovinince our time.

Good size room, staff are good

Old building, old renovation, not very clean

    breakfast/diner and location

bed is too small for me and bathroom is not very clean.

    9AlexPosted on: 8-30-2022

Perfect location , kind personal , godd breakfast , 5 min walking till Heviz lake

    9EvelinePosted on: 7-19-2022

Clean. Has a bike parking. Has an elevator. Fair breakfast and dinner. Location is perfect.

Air conditioner had an extra 20 euro charge which wasn't mentioned before. No bathroom kit.

    8TinaPosted on: 6-29-2022

Hotel is next to Heviz lake. The room is nice, but a bit dated, especially bathroom needs some refreshing. Breakfast and dinner were very good, although not too many choices, but something for everyone.

The third bed (sofa) was very uncomfortable, very hard. Impossible to have a good night sleep. This really needs to be improved.

    7LisaPosted on: 5-2-2022

Very nice apartment - large and comfortable.

The food was not so good. Not warm enough and not much choice for breakfast.

    9ChristopherPosted on: 4-6-2022

Lovely place. Close to the spa. Nice food. Interesting interior.

    7BettinaPosted on: 1-5-2022

Excellent location, very close to the lake. Fair variety of meals, though it's better to inform the staff in advance in case of any food intolerance.

Having a playroom for kids, or playground would be an advantage

    8YaahorPosted on: 10-15-2021

    Good price for half board

Bugs in the room, they definitely need an insect screen for the windows. Early check-out.
