Bonvital Hotel Hévíz Superior Adults Only

Everything was spotlessly clean. Even the spa and the bathrooms by the restaurant. The cleaning staff is exceptional. The variety and the quality of the food was amazing for a 4 star hotel. Great breakfast and very nice dinner with plenty of options, everything looked fresh and was tasty. Attentive, flexible and professional staff. The spa has a very good atmosphere, well-organized, smells amazing and the staff regularly checked temperature and cleaness. Warm pool and jacuzzi with a variety of saunas, plenty of sunbeds and massage service you can take advantage of. The rooms are spacious, comfortable bed and linen.

This is our fifth time at this hotel. We go here every year at least once. We love everything about the hotel. The rooms, the quite and relaxing atmosphere, the food and most of all the wellness which is our main reason why we return. The staff is very friendly and I want to say special thank you to the man running the pool area during our stay he was very helpful in making sure everyone has everything. We like the changes hotel made with the towel policy, the saunas that are now active all day...As always we will be back.

Pool and Jacuzzi need a bit of maintenance, tiles have started to fall off in place and it's starting to look rundown. As this is getting worse rapidly it would make sense to take care of that asap. Also a lot of lights have stopped working in the wellness area.

Our second stay at the hotel and again very satisfactory. Nice hotel interiors, excellent food and service, close proximity to attractions and town. I liked the option of the sauna and pools as the Héviz area is temporarily closed so we spent more time at the hotel and in the town than usually when mostly visit thermal pools within the close proximity from the hotel.

All was very good. I missed the essential oil that used to be provided in the sauna area free of charge, but understand that some measurement had to be done in order to reduce the increasing costs. I would like to ask the hotel to better supervise or ensure the hygiene in the sauna and pool world among the guests. Many of them were not aware of the sauna culture, sitting at the sauna with wet swimwear, even without any towels below their body, which harms not only the wood but also result is higher humidity in Finish sauna, not even talking about the health. It could perhaps be caused by lack of towels or sheets in the area that the guests were not using them. We visited the sauna couple times and had to either search for the staff or the towels/sheets or both. Also, a smile would suit the reception staff. Otherwise the hotel has all features of a four star service and facility, especially in the restaurant which would deserve 5 stars.

Nice small hotel, great choices for breakfast and dinner, cozy and in the centre of Heviz so you can walk around.

Spa and wellness are a bit small so it was really overcrowded (no available sunbeds all the time, pretty loud).

The towel dryer is linked to the heating system, so it is not functional during the summer. This was a minor negative..

Nicely furnished hotel in a great location. The food is very good, the staff is helpfull. Price of rooms as well as other services offers a good value for money. A smaller spa with a whirpool, pool and a couple of saunas is included and a great addition.

the wellness area is nice, but people should not be allowed to enter the sauna in wet swimming suit or without sheet

This is our go-to hotel where we go once a year to relax away from family and work. We love the overall vibe of the hotel, the spa the pool, the food and the easy access to nature and the lake.

Hotel needs to invest some money into maintenance as the wear is starting to show. This was the 2nd time the pool had issues with heating, one of the elevators was out of order, and some equipment in saunas were broken as well. Steam cabin also needs cleaning as mold is starting to appear.We will be back next year and I hope Hotel gets back on track to be a solid 10.

We were on our way back to Hungary from a long road trip and needed a place to stay for one night. I booked this stay with dinner and breakfast included and that was a good choice, because both were great. The spa was good too, although we only got to try the pools, because we were too late for the saunas.The staff were nice. The location is superb in downtown Heviz and as Hungary in general, it's very safe. It takes about 8-12 minutes to walk to the lake entrance from here.There's free wifi too.

Almost everything very nice, especially spa and wellness area. Very close walking distance to lake Heviz. Breakfast buffet really tasty.Room and bed nice and comfy.

Very good location, clean and nice hotel after renovations, nice SPA area and big choice of procedures. Helpful and friendly staff. Food was delicious, big choice and menu changes every day.

Disappointing experience due to wellness services and staff attitudeUnfortunately, our experience at Bonvital Hotel was disappointing. We chose this hotel primarily for its wellness services, but upon arrival, we were informed that these were unavailable. There was no prior notification about this, which significantly impacted our stay, forcing us to leave after the first night.What made the situation even more unpleasant was the attitude of the staff at the wellness reception. The employee was extremely cold, dismissive, and passive, showing no willingness to assist or empathize with our situation. At a four-star hotel, we expected professional and courteous communication with guests, but unfortunately, this was not the case.While the hotel itself could have left a positive impression, the lack of essential services and the unhelpful attitude of the staff ultimately led to a disappointing experience.

Bed and pillows could be a bit more comfortable, but I understand that this is my subjective and personal preference

Proximity to termal lake, friendly staff. They gave us champagne because of the birthday of my wife. Reception staff is very motivated to leave good impression.

Some members of the staff in wellness don't speak english and/or do not know benefits of treatments they are offering. One of the massagers didn't do her job well. We didn't get gifts with treatment packages they are promoting in their catalog. Cake for dinner was frozen. Room was very small.

the hotel looks & feels a bit shabby chic, giving retro vibes. The furniture is quite old and I remember going to similar hotels when I was a toddler with my grandparents...the spa area is also a bit small and could benefit from some esthetic touches.
