    Cons -

    • People and staff are very professional
    • The room was really basic and cold on arrival. The duvets were thin which is ok for the summer months but the weather had turned perhaps unexpectedly cold and wet (mid September). I was occupying the room singularly so luckily there was an extra duvet in the cupboard. I was in an attic room which had a fantastic view of the lake which made up for the lack of coziness in the room. There was no kettle to make tea/coffee but when my sister (in another room) asked reception one was kindly brought to the room with a selection of teas. The spa facilities too were a little basic with the rest area again cold. I think this might be because you have to give staff half an hour notice before using the sauna/steam room at which time they switch the facilities on so everything was still a bit on the cool side.My mother (elderly) had a near accident on the rocking loungers as it tipped completely backwards toppling her over. Perhaps not the best loungers for those that struggle with balance. All this said I think we arrived just as some unprecedented bad weather arrived so maybe the hotel wasn’t quite set up yet for a more autumnally vibe so I would come again as I imagine it’s a wonderful place to be on warm summer days.
    • No gym /spa but I knew that before I booked so no worries but would have been perfect if these facilities had been available too

The location was stunning on the lakeside and the staff friendly and accommodating - the food in the restaurant delicious and an excellent breakfast buffet.

The staff were great. Very helpful and friendly. The location by the lake couldn't have been better

    Nothing. Everything was great

The breakfast was amazing. Incredible view and very nice design of the room. Very nice lady personnel.

The person before me using the hotel room must have been a smoker. The air and the pillow smelled of smoke. The right side of the bed /matraze has been used a lot, so I stayed on the other side.

Perfect location, very tastefully decorated, good restaurant, beautiful view over the lake

Rooms somewhat small; all kinds of strange humming and clicking noises, but fortunately not too loud

    9MeriPosted on: 1-29-2024

Very well located! The lobby is cozy, renovated with wood and great views. Good breakfast.

The bed is too soft and the rooms look less renovated.

every employee we encountered was pleasant and informative and helpful: lobby desk, dining room (REALLY enjoyed meeting and talking with Zringa every morning!)room: view, comfortable bedbreakfast: excellent choices, quality, service, ambiance & viewlocation: perfect'gathering' room next to lobby: very interesting furnishings... great view!

    - room: no folding luggage rack!!! I've NEVER heard of a hotel NOT having one... weird... especially considering there was NOWHERE to put one's luggage to get things out of every day, which was necessary because there's very little drawer/shelf storage. For a 2-week stay and associated amt of clothing: really annoying.- no hooks for coats/jackets/sweaters/robe- no convenient place to hang towels in bath

Very clean rooms. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent restaurant with Vegan options for both dinner and breakfast. Comfortable beds. You can safely open a window and have fresh air while you sleep.

Guests can smoke on the balcony and that means smoke coming into your room.

    Staff were friendly,

Very disappointed, felt it would be more luxurious by photos. Rooms very un appealing and grey bed covers didn't help ,they , were dull and not full cotton. Breakfast was adequate, but steps down to dinning area not safe if you had hot drinks in hand etc. Over all not value for money.

Gorgeous hotel right on the water. Wonderful breakfast. Brilliant restaurant "Steg 32".

    8FionaPosted on: 7-5-2023

    Location and friendly staff

Being asked to move my motorcycle. I felt like a second class citizen and would not recommend this hotel for bikers.

Everything was perfect, the location, restaurant and staff.

    5MichaelPosted on: 5-23-2023

The position and the decoration was great.

the room was not properly cleaned. There was hair and fluff left from the previous occupants. the service at the bar was bad. We were not allowed to have any snacks with the 16:30 hrs beer. They had nuts but if they gave us some everybody would ask too!!! So they didn’t .Tomato juice only in the morning. Olives after 18:00 hrs only!!!!

    8KarenPosted on: 5-4-2023

    Fantastic location and helpful staff.

We arrived after 10.30pm and we.had to let ourselves in which was no problem but limited bar facilities for a drink/refreshments after a long journey.
