Hotel Seehof

Excellent breakfast, clean room and helpful staff, would have received a higher rating of not for the issue noted below. Beautiful location!!!!!

We had an issue with noise at night. Granted there was a bar located on the lower level we were on the second floor actually 3 up. Loud customers past 3 am and this was a Wednesday and Thursday night. We chose to stay out of Munchen to avoid noise.

This hotel is ideally located by the lake, it was comfortable, clean and the staff were very helpful.would definitely recommend.

On booking I requested additional pillows, however upon arrival there were no additional pillows in our room and we had to ask again for them. The complementary water was not replaced daily.

Nice bar / restaurant Excellent location

Rooms are clean, but dated

Nice view of the lake, great location and delicious breakfast.

Receptionist on our first day while checking in.

My flight was delayed so I was not going to make it in time for check in. The staff arranged access to my room, which worked perfectly on arrival. After a frustrating day of multiple things going wrong, it was such a relief that the hotel staff made sure this was right for me.

Location. Good food

No aircon, no tea/coffee facilities in room

You can't beat the location - right on the lakeshore and next to a park which includes places to swim in the lake or hire paddle boards

A few more amenities in the room would have been nice - for example a fresh bottle of mineral water each day or tea making facilities

Incredible location right on the lake bank, just next to pier. Very nice staff, excellent local food, very attentive Bavarian/Asian waiter (I do not know his name), adequate price of food. Free parking. few minutes to train station to Munich.

Waterfront setting, clean and friendly

Great location right at the lake, breakfast is traditional German, all you need to start your day. My room was spacious and comfortable.

I arrived at the wrong time of the week (Mo, Tue) and the restaurant was closed, but there are plenty of good restaurants in walking distance.

Breakfast was amazing. The location on the Ammersee and near Andechs was delightful. Go for a walk along the lake; take the boat ride/tour of the lake. Hike to Andechs to enjoy the best bier in the world.

Location, breakfast, good parking and good dinner

Noise and hot. No fans

The hotel we selected for its location and proximity to the lake and S Bahn. It was noticeable that the room had not long been renovated which was an unexpected surprise. Very comfortable bed and ample desk and storage space. Good selection of food provided for the buffet breakfast.

Reception and restaurant service we considered was slow and we were left waiting longer than expected but this is a very personal opinon!

Location, lake, friendly people

Room position

Very nicely situated directly at the Ammersee you will get a clean, cosy room with a nice bathroom. The breakfast is rich and tasty, staff and owner are looking out for you to have a pleasant stay. Downstairs you can enjoy either the hotel's restaurant or stumble outside right into the Biergarten.

Clean, location, friendly staff, good food & beer. Aaron at the front desk was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Breakfast had a wide variety of items to choose from. Delicious food overall. The bakery items were very tasty and the "apfel kuchen" and cheese cakes were a welcome and delicious surprise to end breakfast. Staff were efficient and pleasant in cleaning up when folks finished breakfast.

Not much!

Thank you for a room with view of the Ammersee lake! That was a great experience. My room had a nice interior, a comfortable bed and a modern, clean bathroom.

I needed to reconnect to the free hotel wi-fi manually every two hours. This was by design - the wi-fi system they use requires you to do that.

Amazing location

Uncomfortable bed, poor cleanliness, old furniture and tv

Such a lovely location by the lake, good food in both the restaurant and the beer garden. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We enjoyed sitting on our balcony 'watching the world go by' and the steamers coming and going.
