    Cons -

    • Bathroom,room without carpet
    • The entire hotel is very out-dated and everything is pretty worn out.Everything is kept in dark colours. In order to eliminate the dark shadows, the walls urgently need to be painted. The carpets are totally worn. Lights in the hallway are not working so there is a standard lamp in the middle of the hallway....Extremely loud water running noises when showering, flushing the toilet...There are hardly any electrical outlets in the rooms. There is a “gym”, 15m2 but I would not recommend using the equipment. The prices are way too high for the conditions of this hotel! I am wondering how they earned their 4 stars!?
    • Restaurant was quite expensive compared to other places I’ve been this trip.

Location is good. We stayed only 1 night. Pool was refreshing. Breakfast is good and restaurant for dinner as well. Service overall very friendly. Extra charge if you park in the garage.

The hotel is rather old, but everything was clean

Good breakfast choiceBarman very helpful and restaurant staff friendly

Indoor bar area not very relaxing Food and drinks rather expensive Air conditioning in bedroom didn’t cope with hot weather

    7RenePosted on: 7-24-2023

We liked the pool area, the location close to the village center (5 min walking distance), and the rooms was clean and with a niche small balcony on the garden. Free parking outside.

One of receptionists could speak only French, and she was quite unfriendly. Fitness center insufficient. In general not bad but for a 4 stars it is a bit overrated.

We stayed in a well appointed junior suite which was equipped with a fridge, tv, safe, mini bar, complimentary box of assorted biscuits …….. it was clean and tidy, had decent wash facilities but no shower, only the distinctly old-fashioned clamber over the side of the bath variety. The bed was decent size but the seemingly new mattress was a little hard for my aging bones.A well-staffed restaurant has a fixed menu or personal choice, and although neither of which were particularly exciting they were well served by an attentive and experienced staff. The Reception staff are also very positive and experienced, the hotel is well run.Plenty of on-site parking, decent pool with lounging area, spa facility with multiple massage and treatments, all very reasonably priced. The hotel functions well in it’s current iteration but will require some modernisation in the not too-distant future. We enjoyed our stay.

Its location is ideal for short day trips into the Valensole Plateau, and see the lavander fields

It is very old fashioned, needs a complete refurbishment. The hotel needs to be brought to the 21st century.

the room and hotel ready for a multi million euro renovation

The old style 'family hotel' setting, the setup of the building & facilities. Size and furnishing of the room.

It is all a bit old, dated. 1970's. Old fashioned locks on room doors, to few powersockets in room etc. One of the towels in bathroom was used & refolded. Bar serving terrace & pool not open until 6pm.

    Quiet, peaceful place.

Staff were not very helpful or welcoming - the front desk ones. Junior restaurant staff were very professional though. For a Spa hotel, disappointing that there were no bath robes in room, or slippers, or even decent toiletries. Food portions at dinner are too small for the average appetite and the service is very institutionalised,

    Not so cheap

The hotel was bigger than we expected

    Lovely place, great area.Lovely staff

Air conditioning in the room was very poorRestaurant over priced for dinner and drinks

    7KevanPosted on: 8-1-2022

Nice to have a swimming pool on hot day. Rooms with balconies. Good breakfast.

Evening restaurant too fancy and expensive, no simple choices. Had to drive into town.

    2SvenPosted on: 7-26-2022

Old hotel. Built in 1915 and it shows. There are better and newer hotels nearby

Bathroom was clean but old, airco was old and noisy.

    3RonaldPosted on: 7-16-2022

    Good location.

To answer our complaint about breakfast, we were told, …if you don’t like it here go to another hotel.. This is not the way to talk to a guest. We asked for a rubber bath mat for the tub but were told none were available. Eventually we received one.

    7JoselynePosted on: 7-14-2022

very nice staff. Nice size room.

the air condition was not cold enough and the wifi was very weak and kept dropping .the hotel looks a bit tired and for a 4 stars hotel I would expect to have proper coffee rather than machine where the coffee was very weak.

    3JakubPosted on: 7-10-2022

the pool is quite nice, there’s also free parking

mediocre breakfast for the price, mouldy fruit (in a four-star establishment, really?), dirty garage with delivery crates, the extra bed was a joke
