    • The view. Staff was good
    • The whole propertyEaster menu was exceptional
    • Overall nice property with renovated and well equipped rooms. The view from the room is amazing. Breakfast was ok. Restaurant staff is well trained, reception not so much it seemed.

    Cons -

    • Hard to navigate around. We reserved a room with a view- and we got a big tree and some little view.
    • That we booked a room for disabled person despite the fact that it was not mentioned in booking.com
    • I can't understand how a 5 star hotel can have the pool and spa for an extra charge.Asking for a late check out was a problem from their side. I know its based on availability, but 30 mins couldnt harm them and they were forcing the check out for 11:30, when on booking.com is says 12:00. Need to soften these rules.

It was ok. Amazing breakfast and kind stuff. Big comfortable bed and spacious room (and bathroom) also really well equipped.

The construction of the building seems "cheap" with bad quality and a lot of details which still need to be done. (Cables, holes on wall and floor, stairs...) Also the outside a lot of cables and tubes and other stuff laying around. (Something that is not compatible with a 5 star hotel). Another point, the sauna culture in Greece is not so known therefore the sauna rules in "sake of" our health we were NOT allowed to be naked in it and the suggestion was to stay about 5 minutes and the cold room, hmmmm it was "only" 5 degrees (considering that a proper cryoroom goes down to -110 °C). So I would say for a spa that should be specialized in such a topic they were not so well informed.

Clean hotel, great breakfast selection and very tasty dinner at the restaurant with great service as well. A very nice view facing the mountains.

TERRIBLE service at spa - total SCAM, disrespect + ARROGANT and OFFENSIVE receptionist morning of check out - 23 October. When we came at spa at 6 pm we were told that we are not allowed to enter and come back at 8 pm so we can use pool up till it closes at 9 pm. On top, we had to pay 20 euro extra per person or pay 15 euro per person and do the water class. We just wanted to stay at the pool/sauna with our child, not be forced to pay extra at time they dictate- spa manager said we have to pay as our rooms are cheap so spa is extra. Very rude for cheap part and surprising as hotel needs to publish real working hours (on check in we were also told spa centre opening time is 10-21) and inform visitors beforehand not when you enter spa in a swimsuit. We chose to pay 20 euro pp for the OPPORTUNITY to swim. During the class the teacher was shouting at us to move to make space for her clients doing exercise whilst 5 of us were trying to swim in a tiny corner of the pool, 2 visitors of the class were also shouting that it’s not for kids to be in the pool. The spa manager didn’t know what to do so came to check on us many times and confirm we will pay end of the experience. All this for 90 euro we had to pay, while also being harassed by some sauna visitor in Greek (also a regular of the water class). On check out I complained about this experience and male receptionist told us they don’t have to inform any visitors of classes and I was wrong to ask the wrong question before arrival on booking.com - about operating hours of spa which the hotel correctly responded to. He said spa and hotel are totally split. Very rude, not transparent and a total waste of money. Shame we chose to celebrate our double birthday and anniversary of wedding at this place - a totally ruined experience and 0 customer care from spa and reception. No one even said sorry to try to make up for it.

the hotel is placed on a hill, a 7 minute drive from the main road. They view is GORGEOUS. The restaurant on the top floor is very nice, we ate lunch and dinner there, it as very good.

The room itself is nice but doesnt have that luxury feel like the entire hotel has. The room feels a bit old and not maintained properly. The towels were stiff and you can see they were from different companies. The water pressure was poor.

Loved the location, the view was wow. The staff so polite, the pool and restaurant and bar were very well kept and good food and service. we loved it. Great hotel for couples but also very family friendly.

The rooms need some work, at least the ones we stayed in. They need an update, better beds, sheets and some work in the bathroom. It is not 5 stars level, but it can get there easily.

The restaurant and pool facilities are amazing. The breakfast and the staff were exceptional.Awesome views best place in Trikala.

The rooms are dated and need upgrading. The beds are tired and the pillows are too firm. This is our fourth day at the Property we were advised last year that the property was being renovated though only the pool area and restaurant were done. When we asked and told them that the rooms are outdated, we were told that they will be done this winter. Once the rooms and the reception/lobby area are redone, this will be an outstanding property again.

Very nice swimming pool with an incredible view. The staff was very welcoming and kind. The atmosphere of the hotel was calm and relaxing. The room had a nice balcony with a view. It is very close to the meteores, very accessible with a car. We were a family of 5 and it was perfect.

The facilities and rooms were generally good and roomy. The pool was lovely and clean.

We have been coming to Ananti for the last 4 years. We noticed a decline in the service we received. Probably due to the fact they had a chess tournament and the place was overcrowded and the restaurants and bar was way too busy and loud for the other paying guests. They were understaffed and it was difficult for us to order food and drinks. The staff themselves were pleasant and helpful but there too few staff at this time. Once the tournament finished then things seem to get back to normal. Management really needs to rethink how they staff the hotel and manage the facilities when they have a conference. The other paying guests should not have to put up with overcrowding and slow service when there is a conference on.

The hotel had comfortable facilities. Design is modern and the location has all you need.

The service is below the line. After the hotel had been booked we have received the message that during our stay there is a party in the hotel which may cause noise. No refund or cancellation offered. Just a statement: it gonna be noisy. We asked for a quiet room since we had children and on arrival the receptionist confirmed she had been aware of our request. The result: the room right under the party. Sleepless night, all playlist of the wedding till 4 am with subwoofers etc. when I explained our problems to the receptionist I literally heard nothing but surprise and extra light apologies. No response from management, nothing during two days of our stay. This approach is unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. It is just a greedy race for money. If the management knows there gonna be party they should simply stop selling rooms or offer a refund. Not the case for this place. Pure shame.

The property was a high end property. The wait staff and restaurant were extremely good.

Bottom line when you are a hotel you provide guests a place to sleep and if you can’t provide that then you fail as a hotel. We were given a notice by the hotel 48 hours in advance that they were holding an event. They made no mention of a live band. We were traveling from the US with a 9 and 13 year old who were unable to sleep until past 1:00 AM. Trying to find a hotel of this caliber for in Trikala was simply not possible. At best this was deception and at worst it was a terrible lie. Do not stay at this location if they are holding an event you will not be able to sleep.

Everything met our expectations. Restaurant is great for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very kind service and good food, reasonably priced.

    Nothing to complaint about

    9ErnestoPosted on: 5-4-2024

Spa area was great, but it was a quiet period. With more people might be different. Food was good and staff was very friendly. Spacious room, modern, with a nice view and quiet. The setting is quite unique with views.

The gym was a little small, but fine and well, newly equipped.

Very comfortable. Exceptionally capable staff and enthusiastic.

Strange space Organisation but well designed overall. Modern, clean and warm.

    1. Congratulations to the Chef! We tasted almost everything, and from plate to plate, we experienced a boost of flavor and great pairings.2. Amazing staff; warm, kind, easygoing, and ready to help any hour of the day or night.

We felt that charging the use of the swimming pool daily was a bit overwhelming for the standards of the resort.

    7GeorgePosted on: 12-5-2023

The good:Hotel staff, room size, location/view, not crowded

The bad:Event center located above rooms and not soundproof. One night there was a wedding and you could hear the music in the room untill the party was over. I wouldn't mind, but my toddler wasn't very fond of itThe ugly:Indoor pool had additional charge (after I filled a complaint I was allowed to use it for free). I have never met this practice before in any of my stays!Bottomline:From my (not so extensive) search It must be the best option in Trikala, but that also makes it ideal as a meeting point for locals, either for spa treatments, casual coffee/drinks or life events. I left ananti Resort with the feeling that it is place that puts first all of the above and secondary a resort focused on it's residents

Most things Good bar areaVery good spa - except no availability for treatments unfortunately

Too chilly to use outdoor poolI only would have liked a dip in the indoor pool (didn’t want steam or cold rooms etc) but my husband and I was not prepared to pay 40 euros for a ten minute dip in pool

    9PeterPosted on: 10-21-2023

Your sitting on the top of the hill and the view from the restaurant and the room is breathtaking. They are under renovation and gave us a corner room as far as possible from the construction so it was no issue for us. Food at the restaurant was very good and the already renovated restaurant is very stylish.

No duvet on the beds may be after renovation. You have to pay extra for the indoor Pool.

Amazing infinity pool. Super friendly staff. Great location near meteora. Exceptional views
