Landgasthof Werdenberg

It’s a very basic hotel room with limited amenities. But the room was very clean, staff was friendly and helpful and the location is amazing. We had a small balcony outside that had a view of the Schloss Werdenberg. The castle is right across the street as is the small medieval village. And there are mountains all around!The restaurant attached to the hotel was nice and our breakfast was delicious.

Great restaurant. Room is a little dates but roomy and clean.

Lovely size room, safe place for our bikes. The place was like a museum with many interesting artifacts and painting.

The staff was unbelievable rude. Check out was 11h and 9:30am the clean lady tried to get inside my room. I said I was there still. At 10:40 she was basically kicking me out. I think for that price, I should be able to stay in my room until 11am. At 11:01 maybe they could kick me out. Beside, never have someone at the reception desk, the breakfast is really way too simple. As I said, for the price, even I know that Swiss is expensive, I was expecting something a bit better.

Nice smiling, helpful staff. Nice room to stay overnight. Bierstube, gasthaus and restaurant, all in one.

Breakfast. It was anticlimax. Very scarce with toppings and rolls that not were supplied. Breakfast was from 6 - 9 am so you had to get out of bed.

Probably the cheapest accommodation in Buchs.Basic, but OK rooms

It was really too hot in summer in the room. Some - even basic - fan will help a lot.

Very scenic surroundings about 10 minute walk from the main street of Buchs. Rooms were nice and comfortable.

Breakfast selection was very poor. A loaf of bread to slice from accompanied with cheese and some slices of ham is all. No drinks, cereal, yoghurt or anything else. Housekeeping staff came knocking on the door at 9am asking when we were leaving even though checkout was 11am....

Rooms are nice, simple but clean and warm. Some have a sofa, table, chairs as a small living room.

Location was great, we have friends in Buchs,so lt was ideal.

it was close to the Castle and it was close to the freeway.

my wife slipped and fell in the shower because the shower floor was shiny and slippery. lucky I was there to catch her. they should put a rubber mat in the shower stall

Great location on the cycle route close to a walk around the old town. Comfortable room but in need of updating. Loved the small balcony with the view of the church and hillside. Excellent pizza restaurant attached to accommodation.

Needed a bit of refurbishment as shower curtain old and looked a little run down.

Room was not clean, the bathroom is full of rust. Walls are thin, you can hear what others are talking about in other rooms. There is no wi-fi in room, you have to sit in the corridor to find wi-fi signal.

The food looks amazing I had a Pizza it was very nice dough. All the waiting staff was very friendly and hard working. Location is closed to every way you might want to reach.

To be quite honest I think the Motel needs immediate renovation. In summer sessions rooms are warm barely you can sleep, they should install AC in the rooms or fans. Furthermore, the breakfast selection which is included with the room is very limited.

Great place with excellent friendly staff. the restaurant was also excellent and great value for money. Would gladly stay here again next time I am in the area.
