Clean, amazing pool and pool bar, great staff, nice balconies and bar service

A bit outside town centre but very quick (10 min) and affordable taxi

We recently stayed at Hotel Krikonis in Ioannina with my family, booking two rooms for a two-night stay during New Year's Eve. The hotel is conveniently located just 2.3 km from downtown Ioannina, making it a great base for exploring the city.While my room was not as clean as I expected upon arrival, the staff quickly resolved the issue, which I truly appreciated.During breakfast, the coffee ran out quickly, but again, the staff were very accommodating and promptly prepared fresh coffee on request.The hotel’s lovely and cozy decoration added a warm and welcoming touch to our stay. Despite a few drawbacks, the staff's friendliness and quick responses made the overall experience enjoyable.

My room wasn’t as quiet due to the hotel’s proximity to a busy road, and I found it smaller compared to the other room we booked, even though we paid the same price for both.

The room condition was really good; clean and comfortable beds, cozy light, and nice terrace. Even if the building is old, the hotel seems to be perfectly managed without any inconvenience.

We expect the swim pool outside, but it is closed. It would be much better if they could inform the available dates of the pool when booking.

Great hotel, especially the staff were amazing during our stay. The service was outstanding. Rooms were big and comfortable. Pool is refreshing and the location is good.

Breakfast was average, but still fine

The hotel overall is very good. The location is very good (we used it for transit, towards Lefkada). Staff are very welcoming and friendly. the swimming pool is certainly a big plus for the kids. The parking is very good, covered with phtovoltaic panels.

The breakfast is rather poor. The bathrooms need some renovation.

Everyone was more than helpful and friendly! The pool was great, even though the prices were a little bit higher than they should be. The environment was relaxing and the rooms very well taken care of.Thank you Penny for making our stay wonderful!

Breakfast was good. Hotel is out of town, but an easy drive by car or taxi.Nice swimming pool and garden.

Nice rooms with good air con, big pool, friendly and helpful staff, easy local bus to city centre.

Pool is obviously open to locals but that didn’t bother us as children were well behaved.

Noting, The rooms was old with a smell of mold.We ran out of this hotel and booked other after 10 min, they refuse to payback, and charge for 100% of our 3 days.Also, no pool and bar.

No pool,no bar at pool, smell of mold at room, far from the city centar. after we left (10 min insted of 3 days) they refuse to return the cash, and charged 100%.Worst experince in Ioanina.

from our room , we had a beautiful view in a small forest. The breakfastwas great , in high quality , and the staff re-fill all the time with food. The staff was wondeful, helpful and polite. The room was real clean.

Exceptional staff, always eager to assist with a smile on their face. Very adaptable to guest needs, especially when we asked for special treatment for breakfast on race day. Overall, we were excited to be around friendly faces.

Humidity in room gave a peculiar odour, especially in the bathroom. Also the presence of bugs (mosquitoes, spiders etc due to the forrest in the back) was a great issue. The hotel's furnishing is quite outdated and should be revamped. The wooden parts around the bed for example in a small room are an injury hazard. Also, the french door's lock was smashed and we could not lock it, that made us feel somewhat insecure.

Staff is very kind and attentive (thank you Georgia for being so nice with the kids and for all the great tips for restaurants and tours around the place!).Pool is a nice addition and the kids loved it.Breakfast is plain but pretty good.Rooms are very clean and big enough, especially the double room with the big balcony (203).Location is out of town but that's not an issue in Ioannina as you are always with a car and driving around to Zagori or wherever.

The Hot Tub is extra charge (10€ per hour for a couple) from some reason and that's pretty annoying.

The staff are amazing. The room small, the shower-very small, the breakfast very poor.

The location was perfect for us and we liked the style,feel and decor of the hotel

Walls are very thin! Shower was temperamental, the hot breakfast was very limited and only served the same items for the full stay.

a clean room with a cozy bed and a terrace , not very spacey for 4, but still ok as we didn’t plan to stay in a room more than just to sleep.the dog was welcomed and that’s a plus. parking was available. nice staff.

We visited the hotel for one night and were thrilled with the standard of the room and the helpfulness of the staff. 4 poster bed, very clean, great breakfast.

I didn't have any issues with the hotel.
