Filokalia Hotel

The hotel has ample parking for guests and we were favorably impressed when we walked through the front doors. Modern, clean, and beautiful. The room was superb with well-decorated walls and furniture. The lighting was ample and beds were comfortable. I recommend Filokalia! It was a mile walk to Old Town with dining and tavernas.

The location, being close to the city, comfortable.

The bathroom need better cleaning.The hotel can use umbrellas during the day, in the area outside their dining room for the residents to sit and enjoy their breakfast, meals and drinks.The security of the hotel needs further improvement during the day.

The hotel was great - cozy and elegant, beautiful big room, beautiful environment, tasty breakfast and friendly staff. The hotel is 15 min from the center, but the walk is by the lake, so it is pleasant to walk both in the morning and late night. There is a great restaurant at the Castle (in the garden), also wonderful little restaurants and pubs in the city. Will visit again.

The room was very nice. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was ok nothing spectacular but it was fine. The parking was great!

The room and especially the bathroom could use a good top to bottom thorough cleaning. It was clean but it could have been a little better.

Breakfast was OK. Fresh and enough. variety. Parking OK, large and free.Fresh around the lake. Surroundings not yet development and by night looks not so safety, but, for sure you can walk around the lake.

We had a car accident during our trip there. We were forced to extend for one more day and we pay extra one more night for four persons for one night, which was not a problem. Our car was servicing and supposed to be ready so we can go at 01 00, but unfortunately hotel staff kick out us at 12 00 as it was the time for check in. Night before I have confirmed with the staff on the reception that there is a possible, we to stay maybe for just half or one-hour maximum more, after the checkout time; they were so happy to understand our situation and accept it with no problem. I realized that we live in a cruel capitalism.

Have stayed here several times before. The hotel is close to the lake and within walking distance to the city centre, great parking available on site.

Even though i have stayed here several times before, was disappointing on this occasion.The rooms were good, bed comfortable, but the bathroom was showing age, mould around bathtub and floor. Alsofound the atmosphere very noisy in the evenings as the place was used as a children's play area and it was hard to relax with all the noise.The breakfast selection was also very poor, staff also seemed disinterested and moody.

Location is too far from everything. Water in the bathroom does not drain. No window. Broken air conditioner.

Jacuzzi didn't work and it was some problems with the bath The towels were only for one person from 3 in the room but slippers were for everyone))

The hotel was clean, rooms spacious and the staff was very kind. Breakfast could be improved but acceptable.
