Grand Meteora Hotel

The location was excellent. The view from the balcony of our room was the best part.

The extra cost for the pool and gym.

It was clean

Very barebones and the staff were bored. The sheets didn’t fit over the mattress. And the massage at the spa felt like they were rushing thru and had never been trained and the breakfast buffet was full of food that had been sitting out for hours.

Is not a 5 start propety. Cheap furniture. Bad service tv not working. Paid for a sute. Nice size bad cheap furniture frudge thar nake noise need ti disconect

Location was perfect!

Breakfast buffet was awful. Towels were old and worn out - yellow. Furniture old. Lighting dark.

Wonderful views of Meteora rocks from the room. Conveniently located.

This isn’t a five star hotel! outdated decor, thin walls with no sound proofing, poor lighting, small shower, no facilities (pool closed, small gym costs an additional 5 euro), breakfast was only ok.

Location was great! Staff friendly and helpful.

The shower is very difficult to keep water in as there is only a half wall glass and a hand held shower that is installed at mid side tub. No caulk between glass and tile. Can see by door that others have had this problem as well.

Terrible breakfast. Very little choice. Most of the food is inedible. Very old hotel in need of renovation. Rooms are very dark with no lighting. Linen is very thin and scratchy. Would’ve expected more for a 5 star hotel. It feels more of a 3 star than a 5 star.

I would rate it as 4-star, based on the overall room condition.Swimming pool, gym, etc. facilities, had an extra charge??? What use is staying at a hotel with a swimming pool and a gym, if there is an extra charge for paying guests?The breakfast is definitely not 5-star, it is very basic, mass-tourism-hotel.

Superb location, great facilities and friendly staff. Was there off season so was quiet but i can imagine the hotel and general area is crazy busy in peak season. Plenty of car parking space. Breakfast was excellent! Beautifully decorated interior and a comfy bed!

Being charged extra to use the pool/wellness area. Happy to pay for extra services or treatments obviously but to pay extra for just the pool is a bit much. Shower in room is over bath rather than shower unit.

The hotel is a bit outdated, for breakfast I was missing more healthier options and WiFi in the room was absolutely terrible

to be a 4 stat hotel it is essential to have friendly and helpful staff, the lady at reception was really unpleasant, poker face answers to the questions I had a feeling I am bothering her with my existence

The location and the view from our room was exceptional. We had the view of the mountains. The staff were welcoming, and accommodating. The facilities were awesome. The rating system would only allow me to leave a 10 but I would have given a 100 if I was allowed. Yiannis was wonderful and Achilles the massage therapist was amazing. The room we had was 4 stars. The room was comfortable with a refrigerator and the choice of tea or coffee in the morning. The bathroom had a combo shower bath.

We wish we could have had more time there.

Was not expecting to pay extra for the pool. The roads to the hotel were narrow and walking distance to main at was about 1km

The restaurant is set up for tour groups as buffet style. They do not have a restaurant with menu. We did go into town and ate at tavernas

Meteora view rooms are great. Staff was always accommodating. Spa services great!

Lots of bus tours overnight here. But the hotel handles them efficiently. Shower is slippery and a bit challenging in the tub.
