Friendly stuff, good location, clean
Old hotel, price is a little high
Warm room temperature during our winter stay
Zero water bottle, No kettle/tea in the room
Good sized hotel at a very good location, a short walk from the interesting bits of the old town, the restaurants and a beautiful if challenging footpath up the rocks to the two closest monasteries and a short drive from all the others. Rooms are fine for the price and if aesthetically very 1990s, upkeep and maintenance are faultless and they felt new and fresh. Breakfast was very good and all staff beyond reproach. Our front-facing rooms probably offered a much wider, longer and altogether better view than the pricier (and possibly slightly bigger) "meteora view" rooms facing the back. The bathroom was ok and it was all very clean and neat. The large, modern, bar area is also a nice spot for a drink before or after dinner. Its worth noting that the Meteora rocks themselves are truly breathtaking and the town, and hotel are at the foot of a very beautiful mountain range, with many lovely areas accessible on a simple daytrip.
Not much is wrong but two things stand out: the indoor pool is fairly big but thats all. Its in a part of the building that is oddly only accessible from outside the hotel, through the reception, the front of the hotel and then a large function room. It is also not very good to begin with. It comes with a tiny sauna and shares the space with the gym equipment in a charmless, cold and undecorated environment. We saw no outdoor pool but there was work ongoing outside that could be for one. The car park is also a bit smaller than it ought to be and finding a spot even early in the afternoon is tough and might well mean needing to park somewhere else. There are only three charging stations for cars. The rooms were alao excessively hot but turning thr AC off mostly solved the problem
Good service, clean, perfect breakfast, best in the area.
Room styling is bit old
Wxcellent breakfast, clen, close to the center
Lovely hotel with fantastic breakfast and comfy rooms. Bathroom is a bit outdated but they do give you all the toiletries and add-ons like robes etc. Only the indoor pool was in use during our stay and it was lovely, as well as the sauna and fitness centre. Staff are friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable about Meteora so do use their information for the best monasteries to visit and the best viewpoints to see the cliffs from!
The restaurant in the hotel is not good at all, expensive and basic and there are better options in the town. We only went as there was a thunderstorm and lightening and we didn’t want to venture out.
The staff was great and the rooms and the entire site was very clean.
They switched their HVAC unit over to heat and I was incredibly hot the entire time which meant I didn't sleep well. They offered to close the vents in my room but the heat was still pouring out of the bathroom.
Location
We booked a room for 2 nights for 2 adults + 1 child 1 queen bed + sofa. We received a room with 2 single bed and they did not want to changefor double bed at the first night only for the second night.Bathroom is extremely small.Design is very old. But most important the mattress and pillow are extremely uncomfortable.
The hotel is amazing and luxurious, perfectly located with a beautiful view. The staff are exceptionally friendly — especially Nikos from the night shift, who was incredibly helpful and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place and will absolutely stay here again.
- excelent location- staff is extremely helpful and nice- offers free parking and nice facilities- breakfast was very good
- the rooms are clean but outdated/feels they are overused- under the room door there is a big gap. when someone talks in the coridor you feel he is with you in the room- we had a room with view to Meteora however noise from spa heating was very loud- i don’t consider it’s fair value for money (aka to expensive)- would expect more from a 4 star hotel with 200 euro+/night
Excellent property and shape. Great location. Great views. Great and organized breakfast.
Bar did not have enough whiskey and bourbon selections.
Very nice great team, rooms with connecting doors. Great Indoor and outdoor pool, nice breakfast , good location.
The hotel is abit outdated but very well maintained and clean
Great location, lovely hotel at the foot of the mountains. The pool is enormous and the staff were all helpful. Nice air conditioned room with good amenities. Plenty of parking. Good breakfast and no car needed to walk to the local town and restaurants
All good.
Breakfast and dinner were great. Loved the gym and indoor pool
Staff was very helpful in guiding monasteries to visit and clean hotel with good breakfast.
Location is not probably where you can see clearly all good mountain views. May be it was just our room and no upgrqde options available.
Nice place , very good location and breakfast , nice pool
