Donna Vì Hotel

Donna Vi was a beautiful place in the Madonie Mountains. It was just outside of old town Geraci and a short drive from Petralia. There was a lovely flowing spring water fountain at the beginning of the road. The hotel room was very comfortable and the bed was top quality. We also enjoyed the spa pool and relaxing couples massage. Breakfast was great with a large variety of pastries, fruit, yogurt, eggs, bacon, salami, and cheese. The coffee machine made excellent coffee. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was exceptional and reasonably priced.

Driving in the mountains

Modern hotel with all facilities including use of pool/sauna complex. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Great value for the quality.They helpfully allowed an early check-in

The pool opening hours were more limited than indicated in the in-room information. Also the pool attendant was more keen on telling us the many rules than making us feel welcome.' You can enter the pool at this point or that point'. 'After 90 minutes, I will tell you to leave'.The other reason I didn't give 10 points is that the building is very generic with no nods to vernacular architecture - apart from the views, we could have been anywhere

Breakfast can be improved. And so is the furniture of the rooms.

Exceptional hotel with super friendly and helpful staff, spacious rooms, very clean and quiet. Parking and spa facilities, excellent breakfast, great value for money. Sensational!

we liked the dinner

we visited donna vi for the second time and took friends as we tought we could use the indoor pool free. not fair to pay 30 euros each when we had dinner there and had 3 rooms. we specifically came up there for the indoor pool. will not visit again anymore.

This location is exactly as the pictures show, truly beautiful and well kept. We actually had breakfast, lunch and dinner in the dining room and were not disappointed ever.

The hotel is very nice. The cleaning lady was great, very nice person, very good cleaning. We got everything we needed. Clean towels every day. The wellness was great, pleasant, peaceful. We dealt with everything with a very helpful gentleman at the reception, he was nice, thank you. I rate the restaurant average. We have had much better meals in Sicily, but this is the only option to eat in this place in the off season. I still recommend trying it, it wasn't bad. The dessert was very good. Large selection of wines.

I think that in such a hotel, at least the staff at the reception should be able to speak English, the same in wellness. Only one gentleman spoke well. Breakfast was the biggest disappointment at this hotel. Scrambled eggs were the worst we've ever had. Completely "dead" and very oily as if coated in fat, I've never had them like this. That was the only warm food for breakfast. A small selection of pastries (savory). But a large selection of sweet pastries. Every day the breakfast was "poorer". There was Nutella only one day, the next day honey was missing, and every day there was less. No pancakes, boiled eggs etc. It didn't change at all. The coffee was from an automatic machine - not good, one day it didn't work at all. They made you an espresso.

Really upon the hills, hotels of standing rare, reception staff especially Stefan go the extra mile for info.

Room insulation not great

The location, the bed was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly.

The bathroom could have been a little larger

Extremely comfortable room. The staff was great, and so was the restaurant and the SPA. Would definitely go back.

Huge green light inside the room which indicates the exit (it cannot be turned off). It can be annoying.
