Nice Breakfast. The staff was very attentive and made sure we were taking care of. The food was very good.

Very good breakfast. However, the restaurant was obviously the star attraction for the property and therefore very pricey for travellers passing through.

Expensive restaurant. No hot water in the shower, excused as "old plumbing" though basin was fine. Toilet seat damaged with paint chipped and paper peeling from bedroom walls. Difficult to park near the property due to its position in village.

Great food in a quiet location. Sauna and a pool makes the stay even more comfortable. The bed was very comfy, we liked the feather bedding. The dining was exceptional good, with very friendly service. Breakfast buffet had a very good selection also.

Little things in the hotel need more maintenance. The steam room and the elevator was out of order since several days. It is highly recommended to make a reservation in the restaurant in advance!!!

Nothing really, sad to say...as we stayed a couple years ago and loved it. But these days, big disappointment!

Overall, very dated and lack of modernization. Room: don't trust the pictures! We booked 2 rooms with a view and got rooms in the basement! Room: not clean- sticky. Promised water in room: not existing, safety box: not working; key at cupboard: not existing, fridge: taken out, covers at fire detector missing garbage cans not existing! Room impression - poor. Service: untrained staff, from check-in to breakfast - had to search staff for coffee etc. . Despite having a star for their restaurant, the place is run down and deserves an urgent update. If you happen to stay in "the new" section - you are guided to your room by the side of the main building, passing the garbage area and old kitchen equipment. Breakfast quality: poor - order for eggs (fried etc.) not existing... Bavarian sausage.. only Sunday, quality of products far below what you expect from the description. Don't expect a "thank you" or question about your stay when you check out... looks they just try to make the last bucks before they close the place....Very disappointing indeed!

Everything was exceptional, the historic building, the rural environ, the staff, the high quality of the food, and the wonderful breakfast.

The location is beautiful and the atmosphere of the hotel is wonderful.

No staff around after 6 pm on Sunday (nor were they available on the given emergency number). Breakfast used to be a lot better.

The staff speak excellent English. They were very helpful when my bags were lost by the airlines and helped to receive the delivery. Breakfast included (excellent). Beautiful historic property. Sauna and pool at property.

Everything was good. Big room in perfect Bavarian style. Small pool, small gym, sauna, restaurant very nice and provided about great german food. Very good management, polite and friendly.

The only thing was big noise from a group of young people (maybe drunken) in the middle of the night. The staff try to manage the situation.

Quite room, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. We had a reservation for the restaurant for dinner. The food was tasty and the staff perfect.?

Breakfast was excellent, really very good, great selection incl. Bavarian sausages. Check-in, check-out very smooth. Parking in front of the hotel or just opposite on a parking space.

Two bathrooms in the room seemed great but the smaller shower filled up with water quickly as the drain had not been cleaned for a while (the drain filter was filthy with hair etc, not very pretty).

Authentic design of the hotel with attention to the detail. Enjoyable breakfast.

Lack of orientation on the client (while checking in was no explanation of anything, we had to ask question or find out everything ourselves), small shower (hard to turn inside of it), no shelf for cosmetics in the shower, doors of the shower are problematic to close; really narrow and thin blankets , considering absence of heating in April - created problems. Hotel offers you to visit their sauna and swimming pool but doesn’t offer you bathrobes or disposable house shoes…however you can “rent” a towel for the swimming pool for additional cost…considering pricing per night, I am not sure how fare it.

We really like this hotel, its affordable and at the same time the place is nice to stay at! It’s so quiet and nice for a couple or family short vacation to stay at.

Only plus was the location as we could travel to various other spots. We had booked 4 nites here.

breakfast - was identical every day - only hot item was scrambled eggs -no hot meat item. Lots of cold items, breadsroom - beds 12 inches from floor, no usable or viewable window, cleaning staff removed personal items from bathroom and they were not retrievable (no real effort to replace), furniture was old, no elevator and room on 3rd floor (had difficulty with steps and asked for a room change - would not accommodate). Pictures on internet show this room, but mostly show nicer onesspa - no indication by receptionist that there was a spa. Discovered it when exploring the last day - appeared to be quite nice but no one was using it. No indication that any of these services were even available - pool, massage, sauna.restaurant - closed by the time we arrived the first nite - 8:45pm. All advertising indicated that a reservation would be necessary - not so, but never ate thereStaff - appeared to speak very little English, Receptionist not friendly or helpfulWanted to leave after first night - would not cancel reservation without keeping the full 4 day amount

The Gym had a poor standard and was really small.Fitness equipment did not work properly. Not enough towels for the spar area. A negativ cost benefit ratio in total

Building from 1663 is still around.Reception easy and comfortable, with friendly staff.The leisure area, swimming pool snd Sauna was extremely comfortable and well designed.Breakfast area was comfortable with a huge amount of tasty choices.Room was well furnished.

Nothing to complain

Breakfast was ok, as was dinner on the first night. Food was good.

Unfriendly and unhurried reception when we arrived. No help with luggage. No service on Sunday or Monday (we had not been told beforehand).

What a surprise! Proximity to the Autobahn was our intention, but then we found this gem. Awesome food, rooms, sauna, exerciser room. And we could go on a short hike right from the premise.

It's a very old building and therefore, they don't have an elevator.

The check out time is 10:00 am , they charge me € 50 for each room for staying up to 12 noon. The spa was not active

Staff was very friendly and forthcoming. Food was great.

There should be an option to buy drinks later in the evening.
