It's a great hotel in a wonderful area. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff very nice and accommodating.The only drawback was - for me personally - that the hotel has no elevator. Our room could only be reached climbing about 20 steps, which my sore knees did not like very much.

Lovely area and great breakfast. Great 24 hour service for fresh water and snacks.

There was mold in the little fridge in the room, very low water pressure in the shower.The toilet wasn't very clean.

Friendly staff. They set up a special birthday breakfast table for my husband with cake and candles. Very kind!

Our e-car didnt charge properly during the night so we had a minor challenge in the morning.

Excellent hospitality and location. Tasty and diverse breakfast, modern feel of the restaurant, decent space between dinners and great service, dogs were allowed, size portions to price ratio was very good and reasonable price. Good size of double room and access to premises.

Very nice place, completely remodeled, nice floors, new bathrooms and a nice bar.People are very friendly and helpful, good service.Restaurant menue is short, simple dishes, but the noodles with mushrooms were delicious.Good breakfast without overdone extras, definitely worth the money.All in all a nice place with a very good price performance ratio.Clear recommondation.

The area is worlds end after 8pm, no nightlife in Idar Oberstein. So it would be good to avoid trouble with the TV set.

The staff wasn't too keen on talking English, and none of the information were in other languages. Almost as if they don't have other tourists than German ones?I would'nt recommend eating at their restaurant also. Ordered pork with roasted potatoes and it was really tasteless! Not even sauce or anything, just those two...it would've been better with maybe a creamy mushroom sauce (just a hint to the kitchen). The food didn't feel that fresh to, which even made my stomach ache all night. Skipped breakfast because I didn't rely on the quality.Don't recommend this place, sorry.

very clean, kind staff, beautiful decoration

location is nice hug up and rooms named after gemstones with accompanying keystone gives nice touch to atmosphere. Breakfast was the highlight of the experience, good coffee very nice bread and breakfast buffet.

Room with a view means view on the garden, not a panoramic view. Satellite tv means 14 German channels. refrigerator not working and some of the staff speaks English poorly or not at all. Big two person room with big bed means 2 beds besides each other.
