Pros +
- Spacious, clean room
- This was an overnight stay prior to travelling to the UK, and was very conveniently placed near the A20. The room was comfortable, clean, and unlike most French hotels I've stayed at, had tea/coffee making facilities in the room, which was very welcome.
- It was very clean, the room and bed were a good size the bathroom was a good size and the shower was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant food was excellent. A really good choice and great value for moneyWe had two dogs and they were welcome in the restaurant and there was plenty of room around the hotel to walk them.
Cons -
- Staff were uncooperative. We were told the bar closed at 11pm. Went to the bar at 10.55pm asked for a couple of drinks to take to the room as we had had a long arduous day and had only just arrived at 10 45 pm, only to be told "bar clised" Rude!
- The only issue we had was that the room key was very difficult to use.
- Perhaps a bottle of water could be provided in the room.

Friendly staff, nice room, excellent restaurant, good breakfast.

Hotel convenient for the Auto-route, excellent car park, very efficient reception.Spotlessly clean modern room, small but superb bathroom.smart restaurant closed on Sunday evening.Excellent breakfast including cooked items.Must visit again, very good value.
Very close to the motorway, easy check in with very friendly staff. Comfortable bed and ensuite shower room. Supper was delicious and the breakfast was extremely good with lots of choice. Lots of parking around the hotel.
The bedroom walls are thin and you can hear people talking in the corridor and the next room. The window latch/lock was broken and didn't want to open it as was on the ground floor.
Friendly, good facilities, bar and restaurant. Excellent location for A20
Breakfast could be better but not a deal breaker
Just off the motorway. Nearby ready to go onward journey. Near to a fast food outlet and supermarket.
staff were very freindly on arrival and resurant food very good and staff excellent on service and prices were very reason able nice comfortable beds and very quiet
bit hard to find location of hotel
Lovely staff, great location and rooms as advertised. Air conditioning was a bonus and highly appreciated. Would definitely stay again.
Clean rooms, friendly staff and great location for an overnight stay over.
Clean, tidy and comfortable!
Nothing!
Location was on our route. Room was fine for the 4 of us.
We arrived for breakfast just before 9 and there was very little left, hard crossiants and we had to find our own cutlery, as only tea spoons left, as we couldn't find any staff.
We had travelled from Orleans and needed somewhere South of Limoges for the night. The Originals City suited our needs as it was easy to get to, had car parking and a restaurant. The restaurant was being renovated but we were still able to have an evening meal and breakfast in the morning. Due to the hotels location it was easy to continue our journey South.
Cooling in the room. There was cooling though in the corridors.
A good alternative if you are "on the move" and need a place to sleep near a highway. Very friendly staff and dog-friendly. Despite the old-fashioned look from the outside, the rooms were apparently recently renovated.
Staff didn't speak English (but they were really friendly and were trying their best; we were able to get by on my limited French), the area around the hotel is a bit "industrial" but it didn't bother us since we were just passing through.
The room was large, with a big comfortable bed. There was pretty decent bathroom, too.The attached restaurant served great food with really excellent (if not cheap) wine. The staff were all very friendly and there was some grass for our dog to play on.We had been told in a message after booking that the restaurant would be closed but in fact, it was open, which was a very welcome surprise. The work hadn't quite been finished and it was not yet fully staffed so menu selection and payment was via temporary reception in the hotel. This made no difference to the excellent food and wine, though and we enjoyed the meal after our long journey.
The ground floor rooms, like ours, felt insecure. There was no way to have the window open a little whilst being safe from any intruders. This was important because there was no aircon. Also no safe. It was reasonably warm the night we stayed but it does get so very much hotter than that. The bathroom was very quiet and this was great. On the other side of that coin, there was no fan so it misted up and there was no demister pad on the mirror.
The bed was comfortable and given it’s on a motorway - the noise wasn’t bad at all.
The manager was awfully rude. We arrived to the restaurant being closed for refurbishment. We were told this on the morning of our trip once money had been taken from us by the hotel. The reason we chose the hotel is because we needed something accessible as we traveled with children. Really disappointing. Upon checking out, the manager tried to charge us an extra 30 euros per night because she claimed our room was “dirty” - her proof of this was to show us pictures she had taken (while we were out at a wedding) of a bucket in our room. This bucket was being used to sterilise our babies bottles and given the restaurant was closed and we therefore didn’t have access to a microwave, this was disgraceful. She had also gone into our friends room to take pictures and claimed they had to pay as there were towels on the floor and a coffee drop in the sink?!?!It felt like a real invasion of privacy and was totally uncalled for and incorrect. We certainly would never return to Limoges, and certainly wouldn’t return to this hotel. Stay clear!
Comfortable and right close to the exit of the highway . The restaurant of the hotel was good.
Location, clean very good shower and helpful friendly staff
