    Pros +

    • The location to the gardens was excellent. The room was modest but very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, clean and the shower hot with good water pressure.
    • Cutest place! Amazing hosts running the hotel. Best location in town, all walkable, near old town & bus stop, cafes, shops. Super charming, so glad I chose to stay here!!
    • I do not recommend Hotel Arc En Ciel at all. Upon arrival, there was no one available

    Cons -

    • Nothing … everything was as we expected for what we paid.
    • I do not recommend Hotel Arc En Ciel at all. Upon arrival, there was no one available to give us the key or assist with check-in. The hotel felt completely abandoned, as if no one had been living or staying there for a long time. They messaged me claiming they had left the key somewhere near the stairs, but I was unable to find it despite searching thoroughly. This left me stranded at night in an unfamiliar location, which was an absolute nightmare after driving a long distance. Ultimately, I had to leave the hotel without checking in and find another place to stay.To make matters worse, the hotel still charged me the full amount, and my follow-up attempts to get a refund have been unsuccessful. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had, and I would strongly advise against booking with this hotel.

The location in the village was perfect for us. We could walk the village cobbled streets and take in the spectacular views from the gardens and other viewpoints. Plenty of good cafes and restaurants yo choose from - lots of beautiful galleries and shops to browse in. The hotel was located in a key spot close to the bus stops. The office of tourism and post office just next door as well. We were able to get all the advice on the bus schedules to help us. We arrived by train at Éze sur Mer and we had to call a taxi as we had missed the last bus. Taxi took us directly to the hotel. About 15 mins drive. We walked to the train station via the Neitzche trail on our way out of town and it was rough and steep downhill. It took about 1 hour as it was slow going in some places. As most people visit Éze by bus S day trips, after 8pm the streets are quiet. This is really lovely after busy village during the day.

There was nothing not to like.

Great location and friendly staff! The room was fairly simple, just what we needed.

Location is excellent, just steps from Uber or bus drop off. No struggling up hill with your bags. Cecilia and Natalie were wonderful hosts. Rooms are above the shop and are clean and comfortable- just as pictured. The shop served great coffee and breakfast.

Nothing - we enjoyed it all.

Location was good. Room was tidy when we arrived.

We stayed for 3 nights, the room was not cleaned even once even after I asked the cleaning lady about it. Owner was nice. She provided with hair dryer immediately on request.

The location was fine, the Lady who owned it was absolutely fabulous., she helped as much as she could

Personally, all was ok, but no buses late enough, public transportation.

Great area and very convenient, Cecilia was very friendly and helpful

Very busy area so parking was a bit difficult but was okay

    10JonathanPosted on: 6-12-2023

beautiful and clean and the comfiest beds ever

it is a little dated but that’s part of the charm

The vicinity with the Château and the jardin as well as with the nice restaurants

    10JoeyPosted on: 5-17-2023

This hotel is located perfectly next to Eze Village. Cecilia is so kind, welcoming, lovely & accommodating. The rooms are clean and have everything that you need. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Cecilia!

    10JudyPosted on: 3-7-2023

Great location for access to Eze and Monaco. Cecilia was very welcoming and helpful, making our stay all the more enjoyable

more basic than we expected for a hotel. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room, but local bars served beverages at a good rate

    The location was perfect

Bathroom was clogged and was a bit old but still comfortable

    9StevePosted on: 4-25-2022

super clean and good location just below the oldtown. the owner from the shop was super friendly and gave us the keys.

    7GrigorisPosted on: 4-7-2022

Very friendly owner! The beds were comfortable, the room and the bathroom were very clean. The hotel is strategically located at the entrance to the village of Eze and so one can visit the village before the tourist buses arrive in the morning!

No elevator! I am not sure if there is sound proofing in the rooms, as we were the only guests staying in one of the 6 or 7 rooms of the hotel. No private parking available, although the owner told us that we could park right across the hotel on a parking space marked "reserve"

    9MaryPosted on: 9-9-2024

Excellent location. Just a short walk to the medieval village and local spots.
