Hotel Saurat

We chose this hotel as our starting point for the Carros de Foc hike. The stay is great as they provided breakfast and the rooms are comfortable. They allowed us to leave our extra luggage while we did the hike (provided we booked a night on our return)

If you need to go to the reserve, it’s very close by. But nothing open there afternoon - so consider if to stay there or down the hill at sort

The management was too strict, no welcoming and didn’t compromise for anything or made any help even when one of us needed medical assistance

Very nice garden to chill out and relax. Dogs are very welcome and that’s nice!

The breakfast staff was a bit too intense. I didn’t know I couldn’t take out any food from the breakfast buffet so I made a little sandwich for me with two slices of bread a some cheese. The waitress run after me as I was getting in the elevator to get to my room and told me I couldn’t take food out. She asked me to show her the bread wrapped in my hand and told me I would be charged for for the cheese sandwich! Never experienced anything like this before and I was very surprise! Also, our room was very hot during the day and I couldn’t use it.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. The garden is lovely and the location is perfect for exploring the area.

We would have liked a small refrigerator in the room.

The location is fantastic - Espot is a beautiful village full of character. Building itself has very cosy lobby with couches and fireplace and big windows overlooking the front lawn. Room was clean and spacious with large balcony and great views. Staff was very helpful and friendly even though we didn't speak Spanish or Catalan. Breakfast offered a lot of options with fresh and high quality products. Would definitely come back.

The bathroom of our room smelled like sewage. This was the only issue with our stay.

The staff was incredibly welcoming both inside the hotel and at the restaurant and everyone was super nice with our dog.

Very nice staff. They offered me early breakfast as I was leaving early before restaurant opens. This was very kind of them.the location is superb.all amenities and restaurant are nearby.

Could do with iron and board be available. But itis not a great deal anyway.

Great situation in the middle of the village

The staff are ver rude more interested in chatting to each other or on their phones than dealing with customers

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The location was very good, central but quiet. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was excellent in quality and variety.

The walls are very thin - light sleepers, bring your earplugs. The wifi was not very consistent.

Lovely hotel right in the centre of Espot with spacious bedrooms each with their own balcony. A perfect base for exploring the mountains. Good breakfast and a nice bar to have a beer after a long day in the mountains. Probably needs updating but overall a very nice place to stay with helpful English speaking staff.

To many dogs allowed in the hotel and in the morning with a dog above us, whilst it did not bark the sound of it's claws on the tiles was uncomfortable coming through at 6.00 a.m. Very, very restricted menu in the hotel restaurant.

The location is excellent! Right next to the river, so we had an excellent dinner right next to the river, and heard the river thorugh our open windows all night. The breakfast buffet was very good - and even better when we enjoyed it on a table outside in the garden. That was a suggestion of the super-friendly and helpful receptionist, who went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. A bonus was watching Spain win the European cup in the bar!:)
