Hotel Schwarzwaldhof

It was absolutely a perfect location, wonderful service, delicious food and kind hospitality. We would stay again if in the area. Thank you to all the staff, we felt so welcome. We chose this location and hotel to attend their annual Blueberry festival.

What a lovely warm welcoming and friendly stay with Nadine & partner! Nothing was too much trouble, had a fabulous stay there and I would not hesitate to return to the hotel when I am in the region. Best hotel in over two weeks’ motorcycle trip right across Europe. Thank you.

Breakfast was great though not much options.

The mattress are two separate. Not comfortable to sleep as a family.No much toiletries option. Only shampoo/bodywash. No hair cover for ladies. No fridge.Other than, the location is quite and serene.

Super friendly owner and staff. Had some nice chats with them. Also very dog friendly. Food was good and fresh since they have their own butcher shop.Room was clean and comfy. Really enjoyed my time there, thank you very much!Schwarzwald is beautiful, very good for hiking although for my taste to little single tracks.

Good location in the middle of a picturesque village to walk around. Warm welcome, friendly and helpful staff.Very enjoyable dinner and breakfast. Nice open area for a drink outside. Bedroom and bathroom very comfortable and clean. Car parking easy.

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful stay.The rooms was clean and well appointed, with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The view from our balcony was amazing, overlooking the mountains and forests of the Black Forest.

Breakfast was fantastic and yummy. A Very beautiful location, and Very friendly staff. Stephen was very helpful and made us feel welcomed. We would like to go there again in the future.

No shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. No kettle in the room. It would be ideal if they could make them available for their customers.

Room is big and quiet. Big bathroom. Comfy bed. Delicious food. Room is very clean. Personell is very friendly.Good connection to Bad Wildbad.

Pillows are not comfortable, but it is a matter of taste.A piece of advice for people in the restaurant: if you see a family with a small child, bring them food as fast as possible, before baby gets crazy (it was not so good to wait 40 mins for our cold starters).

A warm welcome greets you from the family who run the hotel. The staff are so friendly & polite, making this our hotel of choice in the area as other places we found staff quite snappy at times. The food is exceptional with a wide variety of options on the menu, as well as menus in English which helped with some of the more traditional dishes.Comfy beds & black-out blinds made for a restful night’s sleep and a good powerful shower & a sauna in our room made for fresh mornings and soothed limbs after Black Forest walks. We had a balcony & fridge with our room, which was great for chilled drinks & spectacular views. Local black forest produce is available to purchase from the family run butcher at the hotel & the bread rolls are baked fresh every morning for breakfast, which like all meals can be eaten in the outdoor garden area. Everything was Fabulous! 10/10

Very friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant was excellent. My room was spacious and very comfortable.

The hotel did not have a garden, although it was described as having one. It did have a comfortable terrace.
