Hotel Friesacher

The rooms are comfortable and the restaurant serves good traditional food. The sauna is also very nice on a cold winter night.

Lovely place, great location, superb restaurant, and quiet, peaceful.

We love everything about this hotel from the beautiful suites to the breakfast buffet. Also, being able to catch the #25 bus right outside the hotel is super helpful!

Fantastic location. Great free parking in garage. Big room. Great pool. Nice breakfast. Fantastic restaurants.

We stayed here because the rooms were advertised to have Air Conditioning. One of our rooms is was not working. They came and looked at it the next day, but it was not improved and no one contacted us.

Amazing hotel with Austrian national autentity, relaxing atmosphere, comfartable room, friendly amd helpful staff, excelent breakfast

Everything perfect

Friendly staff, cleanliness and breakfast

Far too hot in the rooms and impossible to adjust the temperature. Very hard beds. Booking booked us in 2 rooms when we could have easily all been fitted in one room (2 double beds)....

This was a very nice place. Great staff, the facilities were excellent and the ambiance was great. Location was perfect. Breakfast was incredible, included hotel made jams and jelly, omelets prepared perfectly. Spa with heated pool was super clean and heated.

Couldn't think of a thing!

The breakfast and the restaurant are always amazing. I've stayed here many times. Also the heated out door pool is very nice during the winter season.

Beautifully laid out hotel with very good buffet breakfast. Lovely pool, nice restaurants on site and opposite a bus stop into town, near the zoo and Schloss Hellbrun.

Pool not open all day as it's outside and expensive to heat.

I loved the area ready for a woman to put on her makeup with the magnifying glass right there. And the breakfast was excellent with many choices.

Nothing!

Peaceful surroundings, convenient to get into Salzburg by Bus. Decent breakfast spread, and able to sit outside with partial mountain views which is a particularly nice way to start the day

Accommodation excellent, food and service

I missed that there was no open water nearby (lake)

The hotel is very beautiful and the area around it. The staff is wonderful and makes you feel very welcome. Loved everything about my stay. My room was very big, loved all the space I had for my clothes and the view from my balconies was really beautiful.

Beautiful hotel with very comfortable and well equipped rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Very well maintained property.Nice pool and spa.

Breakfast had a fantastic choice with the option to sit outside on a beautiful terrace . The room was modern and fit out to a very high standard. Pool was stunning with access to sauna , steam room and quiet room . A really beautiful hotel . Easy access into Salzburg from bus stop by hotel .

The only thing as a UK traveller is no tea/coffee tray in the room which we would expect at home and in other countries but not the norm is Austria.

The room is very specious The receptionist is very helpful Breakfast is amazing Parkings are free

No utility inside the rooms( no knifes, spoon or dish) and extremely small refrigerator. No coffee maker/ heater or tea

Breakfast and Room were awesome!

Pool was not always available - opened at 4pm!

Staff could not do enough for you, location was beautiful and access and frequency of buses great. Breakfast was the best buffet I’ve ever had and pool and spa area clean and relaxing. Restaurants food was excellent quality.

Everything is incredible. The restaurants are to die for! Get the lamb chops at the einker! Great spa. Super friendly staff.

That we had to leave

The hotel boasts a lovely ambiance, excellent location, and impeccable cleanliness. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and the breakfast buffet caters to diverse tastes, ranging from savory to sweet. Complementing these amenities is a complimentary hotel parking facility in the underground garage. The spa area is well-maintained, featuring a steam bath, two saunas, a relaxation room, and an outdoor swimming pool. Overall, it's a delightful hotel, and I look forward to returning.
