Pros +
- Free parking; helpful staff; right on the edge of the pedestrian area in the casco antiguo.
- Location
- Hotel is in a good location for the plaza Mayor. We parked our car opposite near the bus station. There is a good choice for breakfast. We ate at the hotel's partner restaurant a few meters down the road which was ok but didn't have much atmosphere.
Cons -
- The breakfast is rubbish and we paid and couldn’t get in so overcrowded and no staff terrible
- The shower plate was not draining properly because not having a door should have been installed with a bigger inclination. The wall paper behind the bed was damaged close to the electric switch. This should not happen in this kind of hotel. It's not antique charm, it's lack of proper maintenance. Close to the air conditioning machine the wall is not painted nor plastered as the rest of the room (again not acceptable in this kind of hotel). Plus the stains of paint were not properly removed nor cleaned from this air condition machine. Linen, towels and mattresses good enough. Unfortunately the lovely carpet of the staircase was not properly clean. Unacceptable in this kind of place. Even historic carpets can and should be cleaned with the right techniques. Finally the breakfast was also quite poor for this kind of hotel. The bread, cakes and croissants were not freshly baked. Poor selection of cheeses and meats. Places with much worst classification serve much better and richer breakfast buffets.
- For a hotel with such a grand design, the evening food choices were poor.. Only basic pub food. There are lots of places to eat locally, but again, the choice of cuisine was quite limited. Probably because of the Spanish tradition of having the main meal of the day at lunchtime. Overall, we found that the local facilities in El Burgo de Osma were pretty basic but OK for an overnight stop .

The hotel has lots of old world charm from another era. The public places are very ornate. My room and ensuite were quite spacious and well funished but a little tired around the edges. The air-conditioning worked perfectly. The public areas were spacious and thriving with guests but not overcrowded. Most of the staff we encountered spoke no English, but they were none the less helpful and obliging.Ample car parking space in the hotel courtyard. The C roads that we rode from Teruel to Burgo that day were simply stunning. +70 miles of motorcycling heaven.

Hotel clean & tidy Free Secure underground motorcycles parking Excellent breakfast
Disappointed that no restaurant But you walked 100 mtr up road to hotel restaurant? Ok but not convenient
Great situation: the front off the main road with easy parking but backing onto the old town. Rooms comfortable, ours with good view of tower and storks nest. Good food in the separate restaurant and good value.
Rather a walk to the restaurant ( it was raining). Staff not the warmest in the hotel ( restaurant staff much friendlier).
Good breakfast, thanks in a lovely dining room. Convenience of location. Ease of parking. Outstanding staircase! Helpful staff.
Everything was great, thanks
The hotel offered cafeteria service apart from breakfast buffet which we found very convenient in comparison to other hotels that close the cafeteria during breakfast time giving you just the option to pay full breakfast. The beds were very comfortable and overall, the experience was very good.
The bathroom smelled like tobacco, someone had probably been smoking on previous stays. It was uncomfortable. The rest was all very good.
Big comfortable room. Good breakfast . Great bike storage area with pump and tools provided.
Beautiful hotel in perfect location. Parking for motorcycle in secure garage.
Little choice for vegetarians, either in the hotel or the town.
The hotel has so much character, beautiful details through the whole hotel. The rooms modest but nice and clean, good beds, good shower, we parked easily nearby
Restaurant little understaffed, though they were friendly and worked their best
the 3 beds fitted in well and the chandelier was very pretty. The oldness and conversion was very good
the restaurant wa 200 metres away from the hotel and the steak for our daughter was not good.the man serving in the bar was not very helpful
The hotel was lovely views spectacular staff friendly food good. Our bathroom shower was very old and awkward to use so were the basin taps needs updated bathrooms especially as we booked a superior room.
Bathroom and shower facilities
Antique Hotel with a good location, easy to park if you travel by car, the rooms have a good size and clean. breakfast a la carte in the coffee shop next to the reception.
The staff, room, facilities and breakfast were all very good indeed, as was the location and parking.
The air cooler in our room did not work very well and we were left extremely hot overnight when the weather was very hot outside (40+ during the day, 30 overnight).
Great location. Easy parking. Wonderful hotel. Great breakfast
Nothing except shower handle too difficult to use. Told staff on leaving
Superb location. Free parking in square outside. Very good restaurant and v. good adjoining cafe. Very good value for money.
Reception staff waiting to finish their texting whilst we waited to register.
Love El Burgo as a city/town have visited many times
Normal parking at hotel unavailable as was some of street parking...wish we had been informed.Had difficulty with the shower taps(room 202) maybe need de-calking or other attention.
