    • It was a unique experience. Close to everything. Palace was very interesting.
    • The palace, location, nice and helpful hosts.
    • Location. Its in the middle of everything

    Cons -

    • Dingy room. Not always someone at desk. Difficult to get to room.
    • Nothing to complain about. Will return.
    • Staff did not provide room with any glasses and the room was not what I expected. Had I known I would have upgraded. The window is small floor height with a wooden barn door. These metal things jut out and if you're not careful you can definitely hit your head. Very dungeon looking

Breakfast and location were fabulous. Anna was a lovely and very attentive lady who served us breakfast each morning, It was great being so close to the main attractions, especially being next door to the cathedral.

Information regarding train services which had been cancelled and which the management didn't seem to know about.

This hotel felt like home immediately. The people at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The two women who made breakfast and cleaned the rooms were fabulous! The location is the BEST. Right next to the main cathedral. My room was just the right size, very comfortable, cool, dark if i wanted it dark. It had character but was modern too. I felt totally safe. It took three keys to get to my room. I could walk around the town, come back drop my purchases, and return to shopping, and drinking coffee and overeating. I would definitely book the Landolina when i come back. Did i mention that the front of the palace is filled with historic murals? The building is huge and magnificent. The hotel part is just the right size.

That i had to leave and go home. I wish i had a month instead of a week.

very nice location, very cute building

The room was really not nice, could have been more qualitative interieur; the breakfast was an absolute joke, no bread, no egg, no nothing…

Fantastic location right in the middle of Noto in a beautiful old palazzo.

Historic Palace next to the main church. Very interesting in terms of history.

If you book the small room, there are bars on the window (it is an old palace). A bit claustrophobic. Breakfast was below average.

Fabulous historical location. Delicious buffet breakfast. The staff was exceptionally friendly.

Location is next to the Noto Cathedral, perfectly central in the old baroque center. The hotel itself was a former palazzo with beautiful historic design features. Staff was helpful and friendly.

The rooms are a bit utilitarian and simple. Hot water in the shower ran out quickly and not enough for two people back to back. The cathedral bells will wake you up each hour starting from 7.00. Check out strictly at 10.30.

Loved the central location right in the heart of Noto. And it was such a great experience to stay in this beautiful old Palace. The room was very spacious and super comfy.

Amazing central location in Noto, with wonderful view out the window of the basilica dome next door, it was a treat to be woken to nearby bells tolling. Access up to the rooms was slightly complicated with use of an elevator with the key, but the memory foam mattress was very comfortable, and the help at reception, although not there 24/7 (we had to wait 5-10 minutes to check in), picked up the phone immediately and were very kind and helpful and gave us context about the history of the building. The courtyard is scenic also. Decor in room and hallways less appealing, but it was a plus to be able to wander thru the floor which previously housed official events and bedrooms of former occupants.

It's hard to beat the location, right in the centre next to the cathedral, set high, in a grand Palazzo of the 1700's, with parking (paid, with some free spaces) outside, it was end of October so no crowds and it feels very local and peaceful. The hotel was the palazzo of a noble local family who donated it to the church in 1949 and it's run by the church not that you would know, an authentic experience that doesn't have all the tricked up things that go with hotels these days, if you like simple and authentic in a good way then this is the place. The unexpected are the grand rooms of the first floor, vacant and used for events, full of marvellous frescoes and architectural detail. The staff couldn't be more helpful and charming.

If you are planning on a work holiday then the wifi may not be as effective as you might like but for everything else it works perfectly fine. I left my work home so it didn't bother me at all, if fact the break from technology was a relief.

The building is charming, unspoilt and elegant. The people were helpful. It was quiet, well managed with focus on the most important things: authentic atmosphere, very clean and comfy, relaxed and flexible. Completely unlike the sterile sameness of the usual hotel.

    English speaking was poor.

Superb location, very helpful receptionist. Nice breakfast. It is right in the centre of the beautiful town of Noto. Parking is a pill but using the easy park app makea a difference.

    8JohannesPosted on: 9-24-2024

Amazing location and great staff very friendly.

The hotel account is compromised and the account stealers have been reaching out to their clients through Booking emails and even WhatsApp, which is quite annoying and unfortunate in terms of data confidentiality.

Residing in a Baroque Palazzo is undoubtedly a luxury. Overall, my stay was positive, and the staff were exceptional and friendly. However, for a 4-star hotel, there are certain services that could be improved. A definite plus is the complimentary self-guided tour of the historic Palazzo where there are no guest rooms.Besides, the hotel is near the duomo.

While it's understandable that an 18th-century Palazzo requires preservation of original frescoes and other elements, the furnishings in the rooms seem somewhat at odds with the building's historic character. The choice of IKEA-like furniture felt out of place. Although the rooms were comfortable and functional, noise levels were an issue, particularly when groups of students were waiting for tours of the museum that shares the courtyard. The elevator machinery, water heater, and adjacent room doors were all quite noisy, but these are issues that could be addressed

Amazing receptionist. Stunning building. Great location.

The peace and tranquility was broken everyday by cleaners who decided it was necessary everyday to shout and scream and make as much noise as possible. In corridors that echo they were a nightmare.

    Location very good. Breakfast average

Couldn’t get to talk to anyone in reception when needed Carrying suitcases inside is a bit difficult.

Amazing location next to the Cathedral! Cannot get any more central. Unique accomodation experience given that it used to be a palace and still it is maintained as such. The 1st floor does not have any rooms offering the visitor the chance to get a real feeling of the building’s royal identity. The patio where they occasionally serve drinks it’s really unique in terms of its ambience and makes you feel like it is taken out of an old Italian movie. Special credits to the receptionist Monica who has gone the extra mile to assist me with my lost luggages and did everything she could to make me feel comfortable despite the unlucky incident. I really appreciated her kindness and friendliness!

Breakfast was rather basic and poor ( although it was not a key priority for my specific stay) and always felt very rushy, as staff used to the leave the breakfast room in order to carry on with rooms cleaning. WiFi was at times problematic. Tenants are given 3 keys ( one of the main entrance, one for the lift and one of the room). Especially during the first day , opening of the main entrance was a bit of a struggle as the door closes after 9pm.
