Pros +
- Location is okay for going to Walibi
- The room is big enough and the bathroom is very convenient
- Lovely hotel in a central location. As it was Sunday in April the restaurant and bar was closed so we didn't have the chance to try unfortunately. The room was fine but very warm and the heating control didn't seem to regulate. It was 25° in the room at 10pm so a bit uncomfortable overnight. Great hotel otherwise though.
Cons -
- · The hotel seems to be primarily a restaurant and then a hotel, not the other way around. At reception had to wait for 15 mnutes for the receptionist/waitress to come. The room was on the ground floor, super cold, the AC didn't seem to do anything. It was EXTREMELY loud, could hear people in the kitchen, guests of the hotel going in an out like what it seemed every 30 seconds and slaming the doors.Room window was right at the trash bins and you hear every single bottle that is thrown by the staff of the restaurant, tried to catch an early night, going to bed at 22:30 / 23:00 - close to impossible. The croud outside at the restaurant was super loud. And to top it off there was a huge spider in my towels.
- Communication with the hotel could be better.I heard a lot of noise from other rooms in the same floor.
- double bed with two single duvets as apposed to a double.

Small old boutique hotel. Very friendly and attentive staff. The hotel bar is a must, with a varied selection of drinks. Very typical, with a great atmosphere.
Stunning Locations. Great Food
double bed with two single duvets as apposed to a double.
Very comfortable room, clean and well located in the center of the old city.Free car parking only 5 mins walk but able to drop bags at the door. The town itself is beautiful and worth staying at this lovely hotel..
Getting luggage up and down the right stairs could be an effort for older clients.
Location and friendly staff, loved the corner bath!!!
Breakfast wasn’t all that.
We had a little family reunion in Elburg. My direct family stayed in Hotel Elburg. Everyone was very pleased/surprised with the town/hotel
I wish I had seen Leonie and her husband, the owners, on any of the three days we stayed, to congratulate them with the quality and pleasant ambiance of hotel and staff. This was our 3rd stay at the same hotel, and we will come back
A lovely quirky hotel in a beautiful town, located close to the centreAn amazing breakfast Great staff
The room was small. To enter / exit was up or down 4 steep stepsRoom 4 looked out onto a yard, storage areaThe bed was up against the wall and could only be entered on one side and the to was wall mounted adjacent to the door
The hotel is perfectly located and a delightful pub next door.
The room was extremely warm although the fan helped. The temperature was over 26 degrees all night. Maybe ask for a room that is not at the front of the hotel if the weather is very hot.
It's a lovely boutique hotel. Comfortable, great location. Great staff.
Passable
The debit from the hotel was incorrect. Despite repeated requests and the data submitted, the hotel was not willing to refund the overpayment. Very bad!
Location and friendliness of staff, clean and spacious rooms
The weather
Beautiful area. Perfectly situated in the centre. Very comfortable beds.
The smell in room 3 ground floor was awful as we walked in. Must have been a drain issue or someone had just used our toilet.
Room, location, facilities
Lack of seating space in room. Lack of car parking.
Excellent buffet breakfast available. But I only asked the first day for a boiled egg and my coffee/expresso mix, both if which appeared each morning automaticallyIt is the best place to have a great local experience in a delightful town within 50+miles
Nicely appointed bathrooms. Lovely bar area and central location.
Staircases were difficult to navigate with suitcases. No help offered- quite dangerous with heavy cases. Breakfast was overpriced. Family room too compact. Rooms were very hot if not on top floor with skylights for ventilation. Pub noise was extremely loud on Wednesday evening making it difficult to sleep- but unclear if a regular event.
The property was in a good location. Bathrooms were lovely and bar/restaurant area really beautiful.
The stairs were extremely narrow and it was very difficult to get large suitcases to second floor. Family room was very compact. Noise from bar made it difficult to sleep. Rooms were hot on first floor.
It is a good place to stay in this pretty town, well located and good service.
We had a room on the ground floor which was loud in the evening; if someone is smoking in the outside restaurant this drifts straight into the room.
Great location in a lovely town
When we booked in the person didn't ask us to pay city tax- I got a phone call after I'd left which was annoying and unduly stressful. I'd expect the person checking us in to do his job properly since I am unfamiliar with city tax
