    Pros +

    • Excellent dinner and breakfast buffet, wonderful spa and relaxing outdoor space.
    • The perfect hotel in the Dolomites! The staff is wonderful, offering excellent advice on local activities and transportation. The facilities are superb: three pools, a large number of saunas and many rooms for relaxation. The dining is incredible: a huge selection of items at breakfast and a superb menu at dinner.
    • The staff are very friendly and accommodating- from check in, at the restaurant and the spa! The breakfast was incredible with a wide selection. I particularly liked the juicer where you could make your own carrot and apple juice. The pastries were amazing (pistachio croissants were delicious)!!!The spa facilities were amazing! All the areas were so clean and relaxing. Loved the outdoor space on a sunny afternoon! Pool and lounge chairs !

    Cons -

    • No AC
    • I think for this standard of hotel the external pool areas need addressing in terms of hard and soft landscaping.Wellbeing and internal pool areas all a little confusing ?Reception could have been more informative regarding the free passes for public transport. That aside excellent hotel.Would just add for me I think it would be worth upgrading the dining areas to be in keeping with the traditional palatte for the lounge bar areas.
    • I would have preferred a separate women only section for the +18 spa area.

This is a unique stay that mixes the traditional with the modern. the staff is not only professional but conveyed pleasure in their work. The spa is outstanding. The two pools were large and had the most lovely warm water and views. Food was excellent. The breakfast spread was diverse and fresh. Highly recommend this and stay as long as you can.

We loved our stay in Dobbiaco. The hotel is very good and they have an excellent spa. Breakfast had a big selection and we dined well every knight at their restaurant.

I would have preferred a separate women only section for the +18 spa area.

We stayed at a luxurious and excellent hotel, perfect for couples looking for a romantic and peaceful getaway. The rooms were tastefully designed, spacious, and comfortable, with all the amenities you could ask for. The service was exceptional, with a professional and attentive staff who catered to all our needs. The hotel’s spa was dreamy, and the pool was clean and relaxing. The food at the hotel’s restaurant was diverse and delicious. It’s the perfect place to disconnect and enjoy a dreamy couples’ vacation. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at Romantik hotel and had a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming and attentive. They made sure I had everything I needed and even offered recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable, and I slept soundly each night. The bathroom was also clean and well-appointed, with plenty of towels and toiletries.I was also impressed with the hotel's amenities. The gym was well-equipped, and the pool area was a great place to relax and unwind. The on-site restaurant was also fantastic, with a delicious menu and attentive waitstaff.Overall, I had a fantastic stay, and amenities were all top-notch. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the area.

    Rooms a bit small

Nice room, well appointed with a useful balcony. Very comfortable bed, lots of storage! Very nice breakfast layout with several items you wouldn't ordinarily offered up.

Nothing really major - althouhe hotel seemed a bit stuffy, from a social perspective. The heated towel rack didn't work, and we pointed this out but nothing changed. The resturant was nice but really formal, not casual especially for the evening meal which had a somewhat limited menu....and was the only resturant open for dinner. Breakfast was very nice - very wide choice of goodies.

The sauna be pools are amazing, the location is perfect to explore the Dolomites, the food in the restaurant is delicious, the room was beautiful and the staff, especially Dennis, was incredibly helpful and friendly. We will be back!

There was nothing not to like about the hotel. No place is 100% perfect: the mattress could be a bit softer and the WiFi signal was weak (and thus a bit slow) in the bedroom

Breakfast offered numerous options in meats, eggs, breads, cereals, seeds, nuts, jellies, honeys, fruits, juices, teas, coffees, including a la carte dishes, Everything you can imagine was available. Some breakfast staff were hospitable and others preferred not to acknowledge us.

They dont honor their own no smoking policy. They put ashtrays on the patios and permit smoking. We returned to our room and because the windows were open, since it is summer and no airconditioning, our room was filled with smoke. The tenants next door continued to smoke in the evenings and early mornings while we were in our room. When we complained that we thought we had no smoking hotel, we were told "We cannot control what people do on their patios," (yet they provide ashtrays and dont put up signs). Additionally when we requested another room, they said there would be an upcharge since the other room was a tad larger. We decided not to move since they there was no guarantee our next neighbors would not be smoking on their patio. Our room was nothing like the rooms we saw in advertisements which were beautiful and modern. Ours had old cottage style furniture and carpeting, and a giant creepy mural of Mary and Jesus painted on the wall over the bed, awkward. It looked like a child painted it. The sink faucet also was old and was difficult to turn on, overall this room was in need of a remodel and decorating. We stayed many places all over the Dolomites prior to our stay here for less money and more modern rooms, nicer staff, so we became disenchanted quickly. The outside grounds were also unkept with broken fountain, weeds growing all over, and black moldy pavers. They call themselves a "sports hotel", and the best part was the spa, which is beautiful by the way, but the attendant there didnt welcome my husband, instead pointed out his shoes and snappped at him for wearing his sneakers instead slippers, no smile. The front desk was not at all so accommodating as the other hotels staff were we stayed prior. They had an area with brochures, a board of suggested trips, tours and tour guides. When we inquired about a guide to take us mountain biking the man at the front said "you call him yourself, we dont do this, and dismissed us.

fantastic place; room was great, staff was great, the spa was out of this world!! restaurant was very good, and especially really liked the breakfast buffet/offerings

not really walking distance to town, though a very short drive; dinner menu was a bit limited (tho food was great).

Great place to stay. The location is great but parking can be a bit of a hassle as the overflow car park is not well lit after dark. The room we stayed in (a suite) was very nice as it had a living room upstairs with a desk a sofa and TV.

The bathrooms need updating. Also the pillows were not comfortable.

Location is great, breakfast fantastic, great value, great facilities

    Everything was great

The whole hotel smells wonderful, like a spa/sauna. The rustic feeling from the building and decorations was very nice. The superior double room was wonderfully huge, with an awesome view, quiet and clean. The breakfast was wonderful as well with good variety and good quality regional products available. The spa and pools access, as well, fantastic. The wine selection at the restaurant, also great.

Dinner is a bit of a lottery. You get charged for the entire menu (changed daily), no matter how many courses you choose to eat, there is no a-la-carte option. And the chef's choices for the day may or may not agree with you so I would say half-board is not really a good idea. There are many good restaurants in the area that offer great meals. The biggest problems came from the sleep confort. The mattress in itself quite ok, but at the beginning of June the room was way too warm at night. We asked at the reception, one person told us that the only temp setting is in the room, while another said he would set the temp lower - but to no effect. In the room there is no way to set temperature lower than ambient - no A/C. To add to this, the covers were way too warm and the pillows were very soft so no good neck support.
