    Pros +

    • Spacious and clean room, good breakfast although it was not in the hotel itself (about 100m walk and then in the basement of another hotel). Easy late check in with clear instructions. Traveling with a friend so appreciated that it was a double bed that we could convert to single beds. Check out at 11:00 gave us plenty of time to enjoy breakfast and wait for the foggy weather to clear before we started hiking.
    • Great location, excellent restaurant. Nice sauna and hot tub after skiing. Lovely view of the mountains from the terrace.
    • The view is great

    Cons -

    • Confusing information about parking. We did find free parking but had to search around late at night translating signs from French. Hotel information focused on the very expensive underground parking despite there being many other options in the low season. Would have preferred not to be put in a room with construction scaffolding right outside (literally attached to the room's terrace) when the hotel was obviously mostly empty and the scaffolding was only on a very small section. Clearly were plenty of other rooms available so felt like booking through third party wasn't appreciated.
    • Bathroom was clean but dated.
    • Overpriced for low season. Chf 100 for a room that literally faces the road (awful view). Had to upgrade to 150 for a mountain view. Bar and restaurant were closed. Breakfast in another hotel (but close). Unclear during booking if parking is free or at what price. All nearby commerce is closed. To promote the hotel they could just give all people the mountain view for 100 during low season

The view is nice, but that’s all

To be honest is the worst hotel or guest house where I stayed for sure not worth to pay that amount of money for it .1) everything is so old the sofa was broken , bathroom very old.2)at the bathroom the light was not working all the time I went to the reception and I was socked by the answer “it’s normal” that some time is working after 20 seconda other time is not working ..3) breakfast very poor 4) you need to pay for the parking place 15CHF even if there was low season (could be an exception to encourage the tourists) 5) For the spa you need to pay extra 20chf per person/hour and is very very small and the sauna it doesn’t feel good was a bit weird 6) Internet is not working , I asked at the reception the only thing that they could so is restart router and after that was working for 1 day and happened again. I rarely leave bad feedback but this hotel needs at least to be renovated if not even change completely the policy

Very nice welcome, good value for money, location next to cable car, breakfast, nice and clean room

parking is expensive and no free parking around, can be a problem for a longer stay, bathroom a little bit old but clean, Italian restaurant is ok, maybe need to have more local dishes

Nice room with the stunning view (one of the best we've ever had) and a nice spacious balcony. The hotel also has lockers next to the ski lift where you can leave your ski and a separate room for the boots. Also super close to the lift itself, so very convenient for skiing holiday.

Breakfast was the same every day and no veggies. Perhaps it's not common to have a tomato or cucumber for the breakfast in Switzerland, but we would have appreciated it.

    Location is excellent

WiFi did not function in the room!Behind the room door, in corridor, and other public spaces it was fine. Ridiculous in 2025

    6AndrewPosted on: 3-1-2025

    Near the gondola.

You could hear people outside and cars driving by. The curtains in the room were gauze and didn’t block any light. The pillows were lumpy and limp. The ski lockers were dingy and damp. Common areas tired and need refresh.

    6AnnaPosted on: 2-24-2025

    Breakfast was generous

No wifi in the room. Tv connection problems. In the sauna some people go non-textile without asking. Personnel pay no attention to that unfortunately even when noted to them.

Decor, room views, proximity to slopes, restaurant quality.

    9MartaPosted on: 2-10-2025

Super close to ski lift, restaurant with nice food (we ate dinner and breakfast, both great). Really good value for money!

Pillows were too high, not really comfortable for me. As I stayed only one night I didn’t ask for exchange, however I am quite confident that the nice personel could help to solve this problem

    8KevinPosted on: 1-26-2025

The breakfast was good as was the restaurant in the evening. Nice area to sit and relax and enjoy the view across the valley. Adjacent to the gondola so very quick to access.

Town was very quiet in the evening.

Cozy hotel with amazing mountain view; fair price and no mass tourism;)

    10SenadPosted on: 11-21-2024

Amazing view and very nice rooms. Helpful staff. Free or paid parking is nearby. There are plenty of restaurants around. Just lovely place. We've enjoyed it.

Great breakfast and breakfast area. Spacious room with a bathtub.

    No complaints

    9GusztavPosted on: 11-5-2024

breathtaking view from the terrace, cosy design in the room, creative checkin in the offseason, very good value for money, friendly staff at checkout

bathroom is a bit wore down, some black mold spots. to two single beds put together are on wheels, so they move around while you are trying to sleep. breakfast is very basic at the substitue restaurant in off season

    9Casta37Posted on: 10-28-2024

The chalet is charming and very well kept. The view from the top is stunning!Rooms are big and comfortable, big plus for the bathroom, really big. We've been on the off season so the value is incredible!

It's just a little far out from Sion and very uphilll, other than that it has everything! The breakfast was a little bit scarce, but we arrive just 30 minutes before closing so not really a complain.

    10DavidPosted on: 8-8-2024

The Hotel is situated in the best part of the mountain village. Close to but not too close to the cabin going up to the skiing area. The view of the mountains and the valley is fantastic. Rooms and nice and the restaurant is worth to visit

    9CarinaPosted on: 7-19-2024

Lovely room, spacious, the view is out of this world, the hotel has everything you need, and breakfast was great.

There was no one working after 6PM, so if you need anything you have to figure it out yourself. The parking is paid, and it was not advised anywhere when we arrived.Plus the bathroom curtain could be a box instead, it’s not very clean.
