Hotel Les Etagnes

Pleasantly surprised. 15 meters from the lift. The family room was excellent size and the proximity to the top part of town was excellent.

Breakfast started a bit late.

Apartment 3. Location is superb next to gondola and funicular.Comfortable, warm and spacious for our group of four.Beds comfortable, we slept well.Kitchen not really apparent in photos was well equipped.

Some difficulties checking in on a busy Saturday night, no one in reception & took half an hour for us to get our key after a long day of travelling. Would benefit from a guest information sheet with details like WiFi code (never did get this to work), and details for laundry room and rubbish disposal.

We had a large room. We don’t know if it was a standard room or not. Hotel well central located. Room in global good condition and clean. Large shower too. Free parking

No soundproofing between rooms. It is a shame because the bedroom was nice

The Location, parking, room, facilities, and breakfast are all really good!!

For us, the only small remark was that the bed linen is for true cold winters. Super quality but as the room was quiet warm and the outside temperature the duvet was very warm. But overall we had really nothing we did not like.

Breakfast was very good in quality and selection. There could have been a bit more diversity over a week though. Hair dryer was missing but a new one was organised immediately upon request.

Room on the third floor smelled badly and I couldn’t sleep well therefore. Cleaning staff forgot to place a new bath mat in the bath room on several days a week.

Location is great. You can ski in and out of the hotel. Short walk to town and the local restaurants and bars. The hotel bar is a great apres ski place. Staff are very friendly.

room rather small. no lift. no floor heating. feel cold even in autumn when temperature falls below 0deg.

Weather on Saturday

The level of service and the quality of the breakfast was superb! Super friendly staff and very nice restaurant area. The location right next to the afterski bar Cheers and the main gondola lift was ridiculously good. The main part of the Nendaz village and all restaurants was just a short walk away. There is even a vernicular lift down to the street with Coop and Migros in the village right next to the hotel. I would highly recommend Les Etagnes to anyone who wants the highest convenience in staying in Nendaz.

The rooms were a little on the small side but it worked out fine. Some of the rooms facing the Cheers afterski could be sensitive to noise, the rooms facing the mountain were fine and the music was not disruptive.

Owner/ staff weren’t very nice. There was a loud party until 2 am and we couldn’t sleep. Don’t book if you travel with children. Not a family friendly place to stay at.

Brilliant host, dedicated and very hard working. Food great, just what we required. Apres bar on site had a good atmosphere.

The walk to the lift......It was 50 metres away!?

Great location (1 minute walk to the telecabine), awesome breakfast and super friendly owner. The hotel is also the site for the best apres ski bar in Nendaz!

The room was nice and large, and hotel is very conveniently located on the slopes.

Our main complaint was that the hotel was very very loud- music playing until midnight from the apres bar downstairs making sleeping impossible. Breakfast also patchy - hot options often not available, and difficult to find staff to check in/ask questions.

Onno and his wife have run this place for 15 years. It's a well-run, independently-owned, family business where their personal standards of quality and service set the benchmark. Drove up from Geneva, parking available (pre-booked), and an excellent location next door to the ski lift. The room was ideal for the break (after all you're visiting for the snow and the outdoors), breakfast sufficient, and the evening menu very impressive.
