Flair Hotel am Rosenhügel - Garni

Beautiful view of the castle from the room. Excellent breakfast. Helpful, pleasant staff. Close to restaurants. Located within a few blocks of the Moselle River, which has a pedestrian- and bike-friendly walk way. Great place to take a walk any time of the day or night.

All good. Hotel staff helped us navigate the local transportation system. We were traveling by train so needed to use busses to get to the local sites like the castle. Hotel staff had maps and bus schedules and helped arrange for a taxi to and from the train station.

Very attentive, friendly and helpful staff. Dog friendly hotel. Clean room with balcony.

The view of the castle was one of the best ever!

Road noise on Friday and sat night and early morning. Advise to forgo the great view if you are a light sleeper like me. Nothing they can do about it, just a busy road.

Located in a quiet area, opposite the castle, so it offers a nice view. The room is a decent size, with a large comfortable bed, good mattress and pillows. The balcony is also a good size, with a table and chairs and a nice view of the castle. There is a kettle in the room for tee. Wi-Fi works well.

Unfortunately there are no toiletries in the bathroom. Also no coffee maker or minibar.

Excellent location very good view of the castle. Breakfast was good, fairly large selection of cheeses and sliced meats breads along with yogurts and eggs.

Sauna seemed to be hidden away in the basement.

Lovely welcome with access easily sorted even though we arrived after time. Car parking was also easy and right next to the property. The views were amazing over the Mosel and towards the castle. There is an honesty bar in the basement which works really well and a lovely terrace to enjoy the sunshine. We have stayed here before and would do so again.

The hotel is very comfortable and in a good location - about 15 minute walk into the centre of the town. Good breakfast and plenty of parking.

Would have benefitted from some kind of air conditioning unit, or a more powerful fan.

It's a very nice looking hotel and would've been perfect some years ago. Room was good size and batchroom was fine as well. And it's only 5-10 minutes walk into the centre of Cochem where all the buzz is.

Looking at the pictures when booking I'd expect a bar and restaurant. I was informed by management that they've changed the hotel name, by adding the "suffix" Garni at the end made it into something elase than a full service hotel. I wish this info would've been presented on the Booking site. I stayed two nights and expected to have room cleaned half way. I was informed that I should've asked for this because it doesn't happen automatically after the aforementioned "name change".

Nothing - loved everything

The hotel has a great location on the opposite riverbank overlooking the historic city centre of Cochem. The view from the restaurant and from my room was beautiful, with the impressive castle taking centre stage. The room was modern and comfortable but a bit small. Breakfast was good and varied.
