Hotel Hegenbarths

We liked the cleanliness of the room. We liked the fact that our request for 4 extra plates were provided. We were very happy and thankful for it. The view was great. The breakfast was great.

The water provided was sparkling and we would have preferred still water. Although it's minor topic but slightly relevant.

The restaurant was very good and the breakfast buffet was very extensive I loved the sauna that was included in the price

my only gripe was the location (which i didn't pay any attention to when i booked it), it's quite a ways up the hill so it's a 7 or 8 minute huff to get back to the hotel. it's good to walk off the schnitzel but less convenient when you are on foot and want to pop in or out. small matter but i'd have preferred to stay more down by the river. you do get a great view walking into town. my room itself did not have a view but it was cheap, so fair trade :)

Perfect Location with great views! Staff are extremely professional and friendly, great restaurant on site and breakfast was great! Recommend a room with a balcony for the view and relaxation!

One of our days restaurant was closed which was not great after a day of exploring and wanting a bit to eat.

Fantastic breakfast, fresh and excelent quality of the products. Location for us perfect with free parking, nice views over the valley and direct acces to walking path.

I booked the room without realizing it was a non refurbished one, so I got a bit disappointed when I arrived. But the staff were very nice and helped us to upgrade the room.

The location of the hotel has pros and cons. It is on the less attractive side of the Mosel, this means that you have the better view of Cochem, looking towards the 'nice' side. However, although it is only about 1 km from the centre, it is almost a 100 meter climb. So getting to the Altstadt of Cochem is not such a problem, however getting back to the hotel is a bit of a challenge.The restaurant offers a varied menu of nice food, although a tad on the pricey side for German standards. Great breakfast.The room was well equipped and clean.

The furniture in the room was a bit '1980' and water pressure in the shower was not impressive. Limited parking possibilities. No EV charging station nearby.
