- I loved everything about the property the staff was very friendly and helpful the restaurant was great the food was good and the staff was very friendly and very helpful I loved it there and would definitely recommend the hotel and restaurant.
- Delightful stay at your lovely hotel. Your staff was helpful with checking in. We don’t speak German and her English was excellent. Cochem is a beautiful City on the Mosel. I highly recommend staying at the Hotel Cochemer Jungle.
- The room was perfectly clean, the room smelled good. The hotel staff is very nice and also a great breakfast! We will definitely come back!
Cons -
- Room can become warm even in November. Opening windows helps. However in summertime I imagine it can become quite warm.
- Parking is way up the hill, kind of difficult since the road is pedestrian-only most of the day. Full balconies not available on Booking, only when booked direct :-(
- The check-in process was unnecessarily complex and it took a long time. Weird to see in this day and age, so set off some time for this. Also quite noisy in the morning if your room is not facing the river.

Great location, nice large room, great breakfast & friendly staff.

Central location, great helpful staff, modern facilities, breakfast was solid.

Very centrally located with easy access to the historic part of Cochem. Parking space can be reserved and it is definitely recommended to do so.

TolD by email to check in on line as no reception desk. This proved impossible for us and several others who arrived at the same time as us. The manager was at hand to help with check in. We had booked a parking place but on arrival were told the garage was full but they had extra parking 800 metres away up a steep hill. As we are elderly this was not an option for us but we found a public car park a couple of hundred yards away. It was cheaper than the hotel and not busy. The breakfast was good with lots of choice although the tables were very small. The attached restaurant featured a lot of burgers and similar dishes, but all cooked freshly. The Apple strudel was lovely.
The parking already mentioned above. The bathroom needed updating it felt grubby although it wasn’t.
Very nicely located in the Mosel valley opposite the river Clean & comfortable Friendly & helpful staff
Location could not have been better for us. In the midst of the principal shopping area, just off the river, easy walk to the Reichsberg.
The room: spacious clean, heating v pleasant nov
No hotel/ foyer, bar. No secure place to leave case on day of departure although this was offered in the brochure. A somewhat lax attitude when the fire alarm falsely went off
Breakfast buffet is very good. Our room faced the river and was above restaurant and square so a little loud. With no AC we had to have the window/door open.
There is no secure place to store luggage for early arrivals.
Very nice hotel in the perfect location. We were able to walk all around town. Easy to walk to the castle. The staff was very helpful. Enjoyed our stay.
Located in the centre, clean, good pressure shower, beautiful room with small balcony
Nice and clean. Good room. Nice area.
Ordered a beer, took it outside and sat down. Waitress said if I ordered inside I should take in my room. And I should sit down outside and order outside if I wanted to drink outside. Huh? I am a guest and then told where I can drink my 6.50€ Bitburger? I repeat 6:50 for a f**king 0.4 liter Bitburger then get a lecture on where to drink the f**king piss. This "wasnt a problem". Oh yeah? So why we talking about it? So I asked if I could eat Breakfast outside...that was OK. aha. Interesting.
Beautiful location. Easy to get to from the main station. Staff was very friendly very accommodating. I had some particular needs for my baby and they more than obliged. Very grateful for that
It was very hot in the room during the afternoon and there was no air conditioning or any other means of cooling inside the temperature. That was not comfortable at all. So keep in mind anyone planning to travel in summers.
Small quaint pedestrian shopping alley behind the hotel. Opening up french doors with perfect view of the Moselle river and having a glass of local wine.
No grocery store near by. 1.6 kms walk. Really more Cochem's problem than hotel's.
comfy bed, great shower, easy check in.
parking directions were a bit of a nightmare and it was very noisy due to location.
good location
horrible noise isolation. breakfast very poor
Close to everything, friendly staff.
No 24 hr check in desk. Sometimes you could find someone, sometimes not. No double or queen beds. Two twin beds are scrunched together. Separate twin-size comforters. No Queen topper, so one of us slept in the ditch between the two beds while we tried to make each comforter fit us both. it was a struggle all night long. Every night.
good location, decent breakfast
in line with the number of stars. we paid for a superior room but it had no view. we did smell instead the food from the kitchen of the next door hotel when we wanted to let in some fresh air. the "do it yourself " check-in takes much longer than traditional check-in and in any case you need a person to assist since the app on the touch screens is not at all intuitive (I did not pay attention to the initial communication but I regretted not doing the online checking in advance). we did not pre-book parking but there are some 5-7 min walk parkings which cost 2-8 euros per day. we were lazy and preferred to pay the parking in front of the hotel (1 euro/hour) but limited to max 2h, the downside being that every 2h between 8-19 one has to pay again. for us it was still convenient since we arrived around 5 pm and left the next day around lunch.
