Beautiful surroundings with lovely wildlife. We had a first class, delicious evening meal. We will definitely come back.

Avoid!!!

Nothing wifi in the room. No kettle. Dirty. Toilet loose. Sink broken. Mould mark on ceiling a ove the bed. Past its sell by date.

Very beautiful, quiet and clean place

the reservation lady is very polite and has a good personality and is always smiling.

Situated in gardens surrounding a beautiful lake, we sat on the terrace watching the sun go down.

The location is great, right on the water.

There was a wedding at the property, which we only advised of just before our visit, so the restaurant and waterfront area weren’t available to us. It would’ve been better if they’d given us plenty of warning so we could’ve chosen to stay elsewhere.

Didn’t have breakfast were leaving early, But evening meal was fantastic, , would go back just for the food alone

The bedrooms are nice and a good size. The lake view was nice.

Our greeting was bordering on rude and not friendly because we were a bit early. The public areas were dark, shabby, and not very clean. It wasn't very inviting. There are areas where there are no bannisters, and this made going up and down stairs challenging for older people. The lift stopped working properly. We understood that we had booking including breakfast and was charged again. The receptionist told me that she would take the money from the booking credit card if I didn't pay.

Beautiful location at the edge of a lake, very quiet despite being near some busy roads, extensive grounds; quite a colonial feel to the place; restaurant at lakeside very atmospheric for a summer evening meal; extensive shared balcony overlooking lake from first floor

Hotel clean and good location for us for 1 night stay. Had dinner there which was good

Overall hotel looking tired and dated. Plumbing was an issue as very noisy when showering or using loo, droning noise that went on a bit.

The location is excellent. Facing a lake with swans. Reminiscent of the world of The Sound of Music.The food is good and highly recommended.All the staff are very helpful.The hotel facilities are a bit dated, but the rest of the hotel is so good that it makes you forget that.

Lots of hot water.

the hotel room was listed as overlooking the park. There were a few trees overlooking a very busy road. The hotel is tired, dirty and needs refurbishing. The parking area is poorly lit when arriving in the dark, which we did every day. The signage from the road is poor. I wouldn't return here if it were free.

This is a fantastic little hotel the restaurant is first class and staff brilliant would highly recommend. Dog friendly too

The lake scenery is lovely - excellent view onto the lake from the terrace. The terrace in the garden offers a nice setting for outdoor dining.The restaurant was enjoyable with very kind and efficient service and nice cuisine.The staff and the lady at the reception were utmost friendly and offered great service.

During day time rather heavy traffic in the street close by. A plus: in the evening and at night time it becomes quiet.
