- Modern beautiful property , amazing location & view
Cons -
- Receptionist arguing that the spa massage was an hour while the therapist said it is 25 min and apologized she did not know an hour was booked. We were asked to pay for an hr. Felt like a scam. Very unfortunate treatment of customers that ruined the experience.
- No restaurant on site
- Breakfast was elaborate but not practical.

Great location. Beautiful design. Comfortable.
Breakfast was elaborate but not practical.
Stunning building in beautiful location, lovely and welcoming staff, relaxing spa, extraordinary breakfast!
Although the bedrooms look beautiful, there are few things I would change - lack of bedroom shelving, no drawers, very small and impractical bedside tables, hard pillows, no English tv channels.
Great restaurant - amazing and unique breakfast. Best dinner in resort. Lovely facilities - spa a great finish to a days skiing. Clean. Well located.
Beds firm (not my preference). Hotel managed to put our suitcases in someone elses taxi - for whom they had no contact details. Kindly resolved by our taxi driver who was well connected. If you want to eat in other restaurants sort this out yourself via Google. Reception not so helpful in organising this.
Excellent staff, amazing breakfast
Some areas of the spa could have been cleaned more
It’s beautiful, they upgraded us to a suite. The dinner was great.
I don’t complain and I’m a very relaxed guest but we got skin damage from the pool. The chlorine was SO strong that both our eyes were red, blurry and sore for 2 days. Even though I showered right after the swim my hair went crispy and hard(?!) at the ends and we both had severe itchy and stinging/burning skin for 3 days after. It’s 5 days since and my hair still smells of chlorine when I get it wet and my skin still burns in some places. It was a Monday morning and we were first in the pool. Maybe that’s why? Do you top it up then? But it was awful and borderline dangerous.
Good location in Champoluc, amazing view on the mountains from your balcony.
Reception / front desk is not very friendly, every request / ask feels like a big deal to them.Rooms are tiny, way too warm, and no A/C.Overall experience is not what you would expect from a 5-star hotel.
It was beautiful. Lovely views from the room. The staff was so so nice (and went out of their way when I left items at the hotel). Can walk to the cable car in champoluc to Crest. You can take many nice hikes directly from Champoluc. And it has parking!
1a hotel, location, service
Breakfast incredible.Lounge area to chill, to take a drink very comfortable.Surroundings with the lake very nice.Cosy spa.
Everything, 5 star comfortpool is like an infinity pool to the treesAmazing staffBuilding is so structurally beautiful We can't wait to returnHere always for skiing.. Austria will never see us again ?
High quality fittings and very cleanSome of the staff were fantastic - Michelle and Diletta couldn’t have been more helpful with restaurant bookings, transfers, ski-passes. Others were less friendly, as below.
Breakfast was too much of a show. There must be a lot of waste. Some of the staff, apart from the ones above were rather indifferent, never engaged in conversation. Man at reception with glasses barely said ‘hello’. Breakfast service was a bit sterile.
Breakfast was amazing. Wonderful presentation and tons of great food
The restaurant food was just ok. Service was amazing, main course dinner was so so
We liked everything about this hotel. The design is very interesting, with lots of quiet spaces to sit, some interesting antiques and fixtures from the previous hotel that was on the site before this was constructed, and gorgeous picture windows, open spaces, lots of light, and a lovely homely feel to it. The architects and designers have done a wonderful job. More than that though, the hotel is very well managed, efficient, with extremely friendly and personable staff, it was a joy, staff who felt that they were sharing their home with you. We loved breakfast, beautifully executed, delicious fresh and local food, and the presentation on the table was perfection. All whilst we sat at a beautiful picture window overlooking the garden, lake and towards the mountains. It was the most peaceful and relaxed hotel breakfast experience I have enjoyed in many a year, it was hard to leave the table. We didn't have time to use the pool or spa, I wish we did, it was very impressive. I have no reason to go back to this hotel, we were passing through, but it was so good we said in the car afterwards that we have to find a reason to revisit, but next time for a bit longer to really enjoy it properly.
That we didn't stay long enough. We were on a long haul drive through Europe and wanted somewhere interesting to stay. We stayed one night, but wished it could have been more
modern, sustainable, luxury
small detail, no hotel instruction pack in the room so you had no idea of what was available eg classes/menus/bar options/check out times/spa. The restaurant Lo Bistrot was where we had to eat according to the hotel (as hotel was fully booked) and we were given no option other than set menu, we only had a small pasta dish off this and cost was £200, really upset us as no prices were given and we simply didn’t dream it would cost this much, ie the amount for eating all courses. when we did eat in the hotel it was exceptional.
Disappointing
Our expectations of a 5 star hotel were definitely not met, too much was missing. The hotel is quite stylish and you can enjoy a few relaxing hours in it. The wellness area is inviting as well as the patio. Unfortunately, however, the negative points far outweigh them, which we list here: Staff: Check-in was rather cramped. The responsible person has probably tried to do everything as planned, but is not really up Accommodated our needs and kept pushing, right away to park the car away. In the middle of explaining the hotel, the phone rang and she answered the call without hesitation, leaving us there. Welcoming someone is different. Unfortunately, the staff has no local knowledge. They don't know at the reception which mountain railways are in operation in summer and don't bother to find the answers for us. Unfortunately, when we checked out at 08:30, there was no one who knew how to check out at this hotel. The person present first had to find a person who can do the check-out. Although we wanted to check out at a normal time, we had to wait an uncomfortably long time. In general, throughout our stay, the staff was rather arrogant, distant, and incompetent. We didn't get the impression that our well-being was at the heart of their motivation. Room: The rooms are very badly soundproofed, noises from other rooms penetrated directly into the room through the ventilation. In addition, the trampling of the children who lived above us was so audible that sleeping was only possible with earplugs. The minibar was empty except for a bottle of water. Unfortunately, the curtains only partially keep out the light at night. The electronics in the room shine very brightly and the fire alarm flashes constantly, so that the room is not dark at night. A blindfold is recommended here. The electronic room control does not work. The furniture in the room for the clothes rack is more reminiscent of a youth hostel than a 5-star hotel.
Great staff and lovely pool and spa
only a fine dining restaurant in the hotel and after skiing we didn’t really want a long and large expensive meal. it could really do with a more informal dining experience.
Excellent facilities especially the spa.
Breakfast possibly a little overwhelming
