Alpine Forest Hotel & Restaurant

Great location that is well managed. Rooms were simple, clean and well-appointed. Breakfast was great, the staff was excellent and attentive. Perfect place for folks who want to be on the mountain but have a wonderful place to recharge and lay your head down at night.

Wish they had dryers for our ski boots.

Lovely staff who accommodated us on a very late arrival. Very clean hotel with a lovely cozy lobby area.

Great location, very clean, wonderful staff (huge shout out to Fillipo who assisted getting our car started after a flat battery), super restaurant, good breakfast included and amazing bus service to/from the lifts.

Breakfast was a good. The welcome was warm. Rooms were simple, well-appointed, warm and clean. Lovely balconies. Free hotel shuttle service too and from the town/ski-lifts. Cosy lounge with fireplace and drinks served."ski-in" from Frachey lift through the woods along the footpath.

The location is circa 20 mins walk from the town centre but staff very willing to drive to and from town and ski lifts

Downstairs area lovely , bedrooms good size , staff were absolutely amazing . They will do you a omelette for breakfast as well as the continental breakfast many people have mentioned if you get bored . Minibus service was brilliant

Personal taste but the mattresses are really firm , but not really a negative .

Very comfortable mid range hotel just outside of Champoluc, 1 minute drive to the funicular. Extremely friendly and accommodating owner and staff with good restaurant in the hotel. Would definitely stay here again

Very pleasant and cozy hotel. Beds were very comfortable, breakfast very good, with excellent scrambled eggs. Everyone in the staff was extremely nice. Excellent sushi in the restaurant! We gad a great stay and would be happy to come back!

Alpine Forest is located between Champoluc and Frachey ski lifts. The hotel offered a free shuttle service to and from ski lifts, this was great! The walk to Champoluc center and restaurants was quite nice via walking path in the evening, appr. 15 min walk.Breakfast was good, there was fresh pastries, fruit, granola, yogurt, croissants etc.Service was friendly and flexible. We had a very early departure, before official breakfast time but we could still eat breakfast - highly appreciated.We stayed at King Deluxe room (3 people) that was spacious and comfortable.

There could be more hooks in the room and bathroom to hang towels and clothes. A minor detail, but this would make the room much more convenient.

Great location: 15 minutes through the walking path to the center of Champoluc. Direct access to many hiking trails.Perfect breakfast, comfy beds, friendly staff.

The staff were really helpful and friendly, the Sushi at dinner was excellent (as was the Sushi chef) and the room was good. The wine on offer was excellent. It might be an idea to have more hooks in the room to hang thnigs like ski jackets and trousers from.

The breakfast was the only thing we thought could be improved. It was fine, but was exactly the same every day. How about some sausages with those eggs - amd how about some variety in the cold meats laid out?

Quiet location, close to ski lifts with ski bus stop right outside. Clean and comfortable.

The staff were really helpful, the location was great as was the food. The interior decor is beautiful!

The walls are quite thin and it made sleeping a bit disturbed.

Customer Service - with a smileUnless you are planning to stay indoors, great value for money - obviously the nearby place that costs twice as much would be worth it if you need in-house entertainment

Not much to like/ dislike, just agreeable with good customer care/ somewhat “thin” breakfast - again nonissues if you are a coffee and croisant person.
