Pros +
- Excellent staff, service, location, breakfast
- Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Arrived early and used the ski shuttle to rent skis and access the lift. Good location on the ski runs if they're open. Room was quiet, located in the pastures above the town. Dinner and breakfast were both very good with a comfortable lounge area, plus ski and boot storage.
- The location of was perfect, we loved the ski-in/ski-out accessibility of the property. We also loved being a little remote from town and the amenities included, it was very relaxing - the spa, amazing meals provided, and the welcoming vibe from all of the staff. The food was incredible, 4-course dinners each night were a highlight, and breakfast buffet were delicious. The chef is very talented! The rooms were spacious and very clean. We appreciate having ski and boot storage as well. Would definitely stay here again!!
Cons -
- Didn't use the spa facilities, so can't comment.
- it is on top of the hill so if you choose to walk it can be a bit of an incline, but they do have an hourly bus / shuttle service into town that was very helpful!
- I wished they could have provided kettles inside the room. We could ask the hot water from the bar, but the bar closes at 10pm.

A SUPERB hotel in Ortisei!! Hotel Ronce is so much more than a 3 star hotel. It is incredibly clean and quiet, with beautifully renovated rooms while also maintaining its alpine charm. The wellness room with 3 saunas is incredible after a long day of hiking, and the breakfast in the morning was a large and delicious spread. All of the staff were always so kind. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The staffs were really helpful. They gave me some recommendations on the hiking trails. Breakfast was also good. I enjoy the view from this hotel
I wished they could have provided kettles inside the room. We could ask the hot water from the bar, but the bar closes at 10pm.
Stunning view both day and night. The room was absolutely spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the lady with glasses on the night shift, who provided me with lots of useful information about the area and made me feel very welcome. I was also impressed by the way the pillows and quilt were folded to mimic the mountains! That’s so creative! I will definitely return. Cheers!
Can’t say enough good things about the entire staff, how extremele helpful and friendly they are. The hotel itself is in a pristine location, overlooking the town of Ortisei. Very clean, breakfast is excepțional as well as the service that goes along with it. Will definitely stay there again!
Very knowledgeable and kind staff, large comfy room, beautiful views, great facilities, very rich breakfast with anything you might want. Your stay includes a free transit pass, including day or arrival and departure which is wonderful
If using public transit, plan well! There is a 3-4 hour midday gap in buses coming up to the hotel, so if arriving midday, make sure you study the bus schedule well and are ready with taxi info, or ask hotel for help. If you have luggage, you do not want to drag it up the steep hill (over 300 ft elev gain) in full sun. Other than the midday gap, buses to/from village are roughly hourly (half hourly in the evenings), which is fine, just plan ahead unless you want to add more hiking to your trip :-) It's a quick trip once on the bus, less than 5 min. Hotel does share detailed info.
Great staff, nice breakfast, clean, quiet and comfortable. Great views. Spacious room and bathroom
Centrally located, quiet , comfortable, close to Alpe di Siusi and Seceda and center of Ortisei town. Bedspreads were nice and cozy. Bathroom was clean!! Loved the balcony and view!!
Bed was ok, pillows are a bit flat.
Up on a hill so requires walking to town, but they provide shuttles up to 2130 (and not that bad of a walk esp. if physically fit). Breakfast was good/extensive.
Did not realize hotel was "far" from town (15-minute walk)
Everything! The staff was extremely warm and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. And we loved the sauna. Hotel Ronce is in a great location.
We loved our stay at Hotel Ronce. The staff was super helpful…suggested we take the gondola up on arrival, have lunch, and get oriented. Great suggestion! It was close enough to gorgeous Ortisei to walk there (it’s a steep uphill on the return, and there is a bus if necessary). Breakfast was fantastic, and it was a perfect launching spot for Seceda, Sassolungo, and many of the other beautiful hikes in the area.
Everything was fantastic.
Everything about our stay was perfect. From the warm welcome at the front desk to the spotless rooms and thoughtful amenities, every detail exceeded expectations. The staff were incredibly kind, breakfast was delicious, and the complimentary shuttle made getting around Ortisei effortless—bus down to town, then ride back up with ease. I would highly recommend Hotel Ronce to anyone visiting Ortisei.
Had a beautiful view from my room, the breakfast was great and staff were super friendly and helpful. They give clear instructions on how to get the bus to the hotel so it’s very easy. As a solo traveler I really enjoyed my stay here :)
What a lovely place to stay. Great breakfast, great staff, great information about what to do. Clean. I've already told friends about this place.
I was too impatient to wait for bus. I walked the hill several times.
The staff were the best. So nice and helpful. They helped us plan our whole trip. The location was perfect and the views were stunning
not in town, grassy surrounds epic views and cozy room
everything.
Staff, first and foremost. They are all very lovely and polite. Location is amazing you get this view of mountains on both sides and a beautiful village
Marvelous 4 day stay at Hotel Ronce was definitely the highlight of my trip. I was doing hiking and the guidance I got from Helene who works at the bar at evening shift was invaluable! All the other staff were the best as well. Room had a nice view and a balcony, and bed and pillow were great. Excellent very large breakfast buffet as well, kudos! And parking for the car was great.
There was a huge heatwave going on so without any AC or fans the room was quite hot. But I got my good nights' sleeps still. Hotel is up a steeeeep hill so if you don't like hiking there are some shuttle schedules you need to be wary of.
