Pros +
- Very nice hotel as such.
- I have stayed at Hotel Diamo many times over the last few years. It is a great place to stop when exploring the Pyrenees. The rooms are always spotless and the people who run it are all very friendly. Infact this time they really helped me out when I had a flat battery on my car. Could have wasted a day of our holiday waiting for a recovery but they came to our rescue and we lost no time at all! Thank you all at the Hotel Diamo! See you next year :)
- Easy parking, clean and friendly. Up market accommodation,
Cons -
- Breakfasts are a bit on the poor side (eg. no whole grain pastry etc.).And yes, during my stay in Spain I did not become a fan of Spanish omelette :-)))(I still think scrambled eggs are much better.)
- I could not fault it.
- Access to the hotel from the main road is a bit of a magical mystery tour. Whilst the restaurant is on the main road. Titled Hotel Diamo Restaurant, the hotel itself is a separate building a good 200 meters away in amongst other buildings. There is no signage to the main entrance of car park. We spent 10 minutes trying to find the hotel!Unfortunately one of our members had a faulty air conditioner that despite being switched off. It came on and off during random periods. The hotel manager was unable or unwilling to call an engineer to sort the problem, leading to a sleepless night!Although we were a party of 7 with 4 rooms booked, I was charged up-front the day before we arrived for all rooms. We wanted to pay separately with separate invoices. My credit card was therefore charged the full amount for all rooms before our arrival leaving my travelling companions "frustrated".

A very cozy hotel in national style. Friendly staff. The restaurant is beyond praise
Excellent location with a room with AC. The staff was helpful and polite.
Location in this beautiful part of the Pyrenees proved we made a good choice in staying over at the Hotel Diamo. Whilst our group only stayed one night, we stayed on for an extra day to enjoy the town and the surrounding countryside. The Hotel was good without being spectacular.. However, the jewel In the crown is its restaurant. Excellent menu with a good variety of choices on the menu at reasonable prices. The food too was well presented and the attention of the staff was second to none. We ate in the restaurant both nights were were there.

Everything. A really super little hotel, very helpful staff, lovely quiet location. Comfortable bed, good bath/shower, strong WiFi.
On site parking is a huge bonus for motorbike riders, we were very pleased with the hotel's parking area. A beautiful, scenic hotel location and fabulous restaurant made our stay very memorable.
Eggs at breakfast would have been nice!
The staff was wonderfully warm and pleasant. At breakfast, there was an attendant who helped and they made every effort to communitcate despite language barriers and to answer questions and hep any way they could. The room was a decent size, and the breakfast buffet was tasty and fresh. There was not a lot of variety there, but it served its purpose well. It also had a good coffee machine. The location for us was great. It's near a lot of hiking trails and lakes and rivers. However, there is really nowhere to eat near the hotel, except their own restaurant (which is good, though not inexpensive). That said, it's close to Benasque, where there was plenty to do in the evenings and more variety of restaurants.
The bed was a bit worn, and we could feel the springs. Even so, it was not soft. We had a bit of a hard time sleeping. Also, the doors don't close quietly, and we started to hear doors banging quite early, which was not the most pleasant of experiences.
Very clean property and very helpful staff. The room was pleasant and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was good although not a huge selection, what there was was nice. Proper coffee - always welcome.Secure parking for our motorbike at the rear of the hotel. Ideal for a couple of nights’ stay.
The hotel is spotless and the decor is beautiful. The staff are friendly. We could park our motorbikes in the parking area away from the Main Street. We liked it so much we tried to book a 2nd night but it was fully booked.
Great breakfast in the hotel. Excellent restaurant close to the hotel but in a separate building.
Great stay in Castejos de sos. Beautiful hotel with good size room and bathroom. Ac is a big plus.
Breakfast starts too late … 8 am it’s after all activities starts. They should open breakfast from 7 am
Hotel and surrounding were nice
The greeting at check in was a little sad
As always a great value stay. Will most definitely stay again!
Very cozy and nice rooms.
Breakfast wasn't too good, but fair enough.
Good breakfast and a good out of the way car park!
Calm, cosy and comfortable. Appreciated having a bathtub. Ample breakfast.
Nothing we didn't like
