Pros +
- Private beach, great pool.
- I really liked the outdoors zone of the hotel. The pool is amazing. The open construction is charming. It was really an island vibe on mainland. I also liked the kind staff members. They were very friendly. The location is perfect for visiting Palermo and céfalu. An update of the indoors would make it contemporary and perfect.
- Wonderful garden, very nice pool, seaside. Food was delicious, staff was also nice, especially the ones working in the restaurant.I really enjoyed live music in the evening, it created romantic atmosphere.I also liked pool gym activities, even though they are the same everyday and on day 3 you are already tired of the same music. The room was very nice, bed super comfortable, balcony viewing to the pool and garden. Always very clean. The thing i loved the most was gorgeous garden , very well maintained, lots of beautiful plants.
Cons -
- Outdated room
- We came from an recently renovated hotel and the first moments we needed to adapt. The look and feel of the reception and rooms is outdated. There is much chromé, 80's materials and old styled furniture. Also the bathroom (although very clean!) was really outdated. E.g. our room had only 2 wall chargers and it was full of mirrors. It's odd. But once you can see through the 80's vibe on the inside you can embrace the beauty of the outdoors and the atmosphere you will have a good time.
- I didn't like that the pool was closing quite early in the evening. After 6pm the staff is already kicking guest out of the pool even though it's still hot and sunny and people want to hang out there.I can say i expected a bit more in buffet (we had breakfast and dinner included) as we are in Sicily, more fruit, typical dishes of the area, seafood. Also for the breakfast some pancakes or waffles would have been great.

Alex , Simona and the team made our stay pleasant, memorable and every request met with understanding .Great service and very welcoming.See you soon again
Thank you very much
Good green area, large pool.
Food was in fresh. Quality of food is very low. Better going to local neighbors restaurants.
I was in this hotel 10 years ago. I decided to come back, but.... The best things in this hotel are the beach and the sea.
The indifference of the staff. I rested for 5 days. For 3 days I could not repair a broken shower. A hotel with a broken shower cannot cost 380 euros per day. From 21.00 to 23.30, music plays very loudly. It is impossible to hide from it anywhere. The Internet was working very badly.
The hotel and premises are absolutely astounding, dare I say surreal - clearly a lot of effort has gone into building something remarkable. There are flowering plants everywhere, in front of the balconies and even on top of the buildings. And palm trees all over. And an enormous swimming pool with artificial "islands". The beach is decent, although somewhat rocky. Ample parking space. Music in the evening, but good stuff and not too loud.
As far as my experience from august 2023 goes, WIFI is spotty at best, utterly broken most of the time. And it's wifi-6 exclusively, incompatible with older devices - had to use my new phone as a wifi bridge, and it would only lock on if kept in the bathroom. I've reported the issue to the staff, to no avail. If you need a good, stable and fast connection for business use, well, none to speak of during my stay.
The hotel itself was beautiful and luxurious , well located in a strategic place from where you can reach the most important tourist attractions in Sicily in a couple of hours. Very good breakfast
pool and surroundings
access to water on beach impossiblebuffet diner food below average
the room looked really good. very clean. and the pool was lovely
the WiFi wasn't working very well. the food was quite repetenți e
When you enter the resort you get the impression of being on a tropical island. Its well-maintained gardens which are scattered with countless palms, banana trees and blooming bushes are very inviting and offer a retreat from everyday trouble. The pool area is in the heart of the resort. Approximately half of it is comfortably shallow and thus is perfect for having a great time with your children. The staff is happy to assist you any time and waiters react and approach you very quickly in the restaurant and bar keeping waiting times to an absolute minimum.
The food constitutes a complete contrast to the resort's other pleasant amenities that we enjoyed. We were more than disappointed to experience the same breakfast buffet every day, which was very modest for a 4-star hotel. The selection was dominated by sweet pastries like three kinds of croissants (plain, with creme and chocolate filling) as well as cakes, for instance. Unfortunately, besides toast, white bread, fried or boiled eggs, and two kinds of ham and cheese, there was not much else to choose from. Fresh fruits in the morning were a rare exemption from the rule which was... canned fruits.Dinner, although giving guests more variety, was very repetitive each day during our stay. We were expecting a changing buffet menu every other day. However, the changes which we noticed were mainly limited to the pesto being served with spaghetti one or two other types of salads, one additional cake or the kind of meat being fried in front of the guest at the buffet. The buffet creates the initial impression of being generous with a large selection of different dishes but we regretted seeing that this effect was mainly produced by placing the same dishes across a wider area.Cocktails at the bar were very inconsistent in taste and alcohol content. It was absolutely normal to expect that ordering the same drink even during the same evening or day would result in getting drinks of different quality.Lunch does not deviate from dinner's quality and we would not recommend it, either. If you stick with the half-board option ordering food from somewhere else is limited due to the resort's location apart from trying the menu in hotels in the neighbourhood. The "mini-market" at the resort offers only a few chocolate bars and crisps. At the end of our stay, we were very displeased with catering which for a place that is designed to make you stay on its amenities, has prevented us from finding the joy that we were looking forward to upon booking our...
The pool and beach
Evening Entertainment could have been better and more facilities for teenagers
Pool was ok, very good in size and not too crowded. All the staff very friendly. Nice program at the piano bar. Dinner choices were excellent. Easy access to the beach including the private beach.
Quite an isolated location. Worth it if you get at least half-board or all inclusive, otherwise there will be a struggle to accommodate lunch and dinner unless you choose to buy it at the hotel. Cefalu is 30 min away by car. Transfer options: a shuttle (extra cost) that runs 9.30 am and 3pm only so one can only reach Cefalu, have a 2 hours window to eat something or have a walk and return to the train station to take the shuttle back. Price is 7 euro a return ticket. The other option would be by taxi which offers more flexibility but that will cost around 30 euro one way.Although the hotel has its own pool and it's advertised like that, no one tells you that you will actually have to pay extra for the access to the pool and private beach and it is not optional.Breakfast has quite a poor range of options, unless you are into a lot of croissants and sweets. Wifi is crap so you shouldn't rely on it and the signal to your own data traffic is poor in that location.Kids club did not impress me at all. Kids 12+ will definitely get bored easily. Check out is at 10 am. There is a possibility to extend the room at an additional cost, but one needs to take into account there's not much to do if the flights are later in the afternoon or evening. A taxi transfer from Palermo airport to the resort is around 150 euro. There are some trips available around the island but there's just 1 option per day from the hotel and they get sold out pretty quickly, so one must organise the week upon arrival if you want to benefit from such extra activities.
Very nice, clean and comfortable, food is very good
(UK Couple ages 21 and 22) Really pretty resort which is really clean and well maintained. The pool is immaculate and also slightly warm which is nice to spend longer periods of time in.
We booked as bed and breakfast only as the hotel was advertised as being 200m from bars, restaurants and shops. Whilst this is true, there is no direct walk as you would need to cross highways. Leaving you only able to leave the resort via car, taxi or bus. Taxis are €10 each way to the closest town with a supermarket and there are no bars or restaurants in that area as advertised. The next closest town is €30 in a taxi each way. We upgraded to all inclusive which was around €400 each for 6 days. The food was average for a 4 star all inclusive resort, however the ice cream and drinks selections were great. However, all inclusive does not include ice creams outside of meal times or snacks throughout the day. Our main bug bear however was that our towels were not changed for 4 days, and our bed linen wasn’t changed until the 6th day. We followed the hotels instructions on where to leave towels to be changed everyday but ended up needing to call reception to get fresh towels. A few final things to be aware of, there is a membership fee on arrival for access to the pool and beach which is compulsory at €35 + €15 Tax each. The second pool is in the spa area and is only accessible for an added fee with booking. Beach Towels are €3 per person and cannot be changed for free. Staff can sometimes be rude and unhelpful. The beach is really well kept and private but it is small and you are unable to walk further than the edges of the resort. Sunbeds are easy to get for 2 people all day, especially from 12pm. Finally, just to be aware entertainment is mainly in Italian with some English songs so good to bring a pack of cards to play while listening. Overall, fine to stay in for a chilled week away as a couple, but be prepared to spend significantly more once you arrive for an average all inclusive resort experience.
Great place to stayGood food, helpful staffTop class
The location could be better
The resort looks very well, but not really clean. The resort needs more person. At evening they have programm to dance, which was really nice.
They take the Covid as a cause not to deliver the minimum standard for a 4 star hotel. We didnt even get a bottle water when we arrive to the hotel. The breakfast was really poor and not the standard as a 4star hotel. The last day we wanted to stay at the swimming pool longer, after check out till 15:00 and for that they wanted us to pay for a person 40€ more!!!!The top of the inconvenience was that we had to pay for the swim towel!!!!
Setting was beautiful, staff very hardworking and friendly.
Wifi was patchy and even 4G was limited.
ExcellentWell presentedRefilled when emptyVery fresh
