- There was nothing I didn’t like.
- The bath tub is a bit small. I was hoping for a long soak after a long hike, but that was not possible.
- Underwhelming hospitality, tiniest of bathrooms.

Quiet location, good restaurant, bicycle storage, friendly staff.

I was injured, one of the employees came up the mountain to drive me back. Didn't charge me, I paid the other manager, and made me an ice bag. When he saw me limping to the pharmacy, he gave me a ride. Small bunk rooms, with great baths and showers. Most rooms were coed, but small, and super nice pilgrims made this a non issue.
It was a great experience quiet town got ahead start out of Roncesvalles but because of that didn’t get to visit Roncesvalles and didn’t get the blessing missed a great town, sad for that but happy I got very good rest for the next leg of the trip.
Clean. Offered simple, satisfying meals.
Underwhelming hospitality, tiniest of bathrooms.
The hosts were lovely people and took such good care of us. The place was spotlessly clean too and very comfortable. Great patio to have beers and relax and definitely enjoy the dinner and breakfast!
Perfect location on the Camino, just steps away. They completely catered to our vegetarian request with the most delicious soup and chick pea bake. Couldn’t have asked for a better meal!! They also have a breakfast serving with several options. The room was large and comfortable. Highly recommend walking a few more km and staying here on your first or second Camino day. The most beautiful quaint town too.
Pretty much, right on the Camino. A clean, spacious room with a nice view overlooking a courtyard. Great menus for pilgrims, an incredibly friendly staff and in a quiet village that Hemingway used to frequent. Skip Roncesvalles and enjoy the comfort of Burguete and this stay.
The people who run this hotel/restaurant are second to none. You will not run into any kinder,, helpful and more knowledgeable people who go out of their way to help you. As an example, we needed a taxi to get back to Roncevalles as we were staying there the next night. The man running the hotel/restaurant had his son take us (versus waiting and paying for a taxi). That’s just one of numerous examples. Bringing ice to our room because of an injury is another. And it goes on from there. The best people anywhere.
Location & staff & food excellent
The staff was amazing…so helpful. Really good dinner. Bar and garden for relaxing.
Room was comfortable, the Pilgrims meal was nice, good breakfast and outstanding beer.
No plug on the sink, meant we used a lot of water doing our daily small wash. Not exactly a big problem.
It was comfortable and clean and quiet and very convenient to the Camino
It was on the trail of the Camino. The location was prefect, staff friendly and great evening Meal offered and breakfast included. Also has a bar.
I thought this was a terrific little place. I had just come off day two of the Camino and was exhausted. The receptionist went out of his way to make sure I had what I needed. The staff was very friendly and courteous. It’s right on the Camino so it’s very convenient to get back on.I would go back there in a heartbeat.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was great. It was a very restful first night walking the Camino.
Great place to stop on the Camino. We had both dinner and breakfast there and the meals were tasty and good value.
The heater was out of power at night, felt a little cold when slept. The laundry was not returned before leaving the next day.
We had a lovely welcome and our bag was waiting for us in reception. Our room was big with a balcony and lovely bathroom. There was even a lift for higher floors. Nothing was too much trouble they gave us hot water and milk to make a cup of tea, I borrowed a hairdryer and we had a fabulous 3 course pigrim meal (soup with bread, sausage, eggs and chips, chocolate cake or ice cream) for €15 each including a drink of your choice in the evening, absolutely outstanding. We also had breakfast which was plentiful with lots of choice included in our booking. Thanks again to all the staff 10/10
