Hotel am Ochsentor

This is the only hotel (what we know of) where you do pay for your dog, but you get a bed, bowls and food for your dog!The hotel is very comfortable and the staff is very friendly also the Italian restaurant is really good and of course dog friendly. Don’t forget to book a place in their underground parking.

Very welcoming and helpful staff. In the room a nice sweet surprise for us, but even treats for the dogs, a bed for them and bowls for them. A very nice decorative room, comfortable bed and good shower. The trattoria is very good and we can recommend the menu with accompanying wines. To make things perfect is a underground garage with lift up to the reception and rooms.

Great facilites. Good location. Parking garage in the hotel. Friendly staff.

Pillows were not great, way too soft.

Lovely decorated place -the lamps-outstanding!!!

unexpectedly long wait for the second part of the dinner the staff quickly compensated with sorbet and digestif. such behavior speaks well of the level of service of this place. Good job!!

The hotel is in a nice location & The rooms are impeccably tidy.

"The restaurant in the hotel is characterized by subpar service and a tendency towards overpricing with a low quality.

Helpful, friendly staff and a well-appointed room. The breakfast was great with a good selection of food items. We were a bit concerned when we found that the hotel supplied ear plugs in the room but we didn't notice any noise during our stay.

Unfortunately the hotel's car park was not accessible during our stay because of a festival being held in the town which meant the roads were closed. This made life difficult for us as my wife has reduced mobility.

Great staff. Comfortable parking space. You don’t need to leave the hotel to have an excellent meal at Ai Pero.

Light sleepers should be warned for the near location to the trainrails. A lot of trains pass every hour making a lot of noise.

On the outside Hotel am Ochsentor looks rather small, but once inside it shows that behind the facade there is a lovely medium sized boutique hotel. The room was not huge, but the right size. An excellent bath room. All very new and modern. The hotel is within the medieval city wall. The breakfast in a really nicely decorated room was great, the buffet offered much choice. Freshly made coffee was served swiftly by the staff.Parking garage was spacious and well lit and looked like it had been brought on-line the week before, that clean.Location could not be better, about 100 meters from the Marktplatz where there are some nice terraces where you can have beer of a cup of coffee. A 10 minute walk will take you to the Rhine.

Spacious room, good bed, very clean, excellent breakfast

Church bells and freight trains are terrible at night!

Good place to stay @Andernach. Pleasant breakfast, kind staff, good location, clean and worthy. Not a typical chain hotel rather a boutique hotel embedded in a good gastronomy and enoteca.

Not really

Good equipped modern rooms in the centre of Andernach. Very good restaurants in the hotel + within 200m. Own parking facility under the hotel (8€ per day).

Clean, comfortable, friendly

In town center yet easy parking & free ev charging in public parking garage.
