We like the position near by ferry terminal. As well the communication was exellent and staff very friendly. I really apreciated that keys were ready for us even late arrival.
The room is clean , but the blankets and pilow was long time in service and looks they need to be replaced for new one. As we traveled out of the season and it seems to me that room had been closed for long time. I would really recoment to put fresh air in the room before new guest arrive.
- super close to a very beautiful Beach which can be reached by foot in ~15 minutes :) - there were some issues with our trains so it looked like we‘d arrive late (after 10pm) and they offered to deposit the key some where so we could still check it!
- there’s no public transport to Hirtshals which might be and disadvantage if you‘re traveling without a car and need to take a ferry the next day - if you do have a car it’s actually a very short ride :)
It was near the boat arriving from Kristiansand, Norway. We arrived at almost midnight. We did not have to drive far.

I liked the location. Staff is friendly but not service minded or eager to be of help.
I didn't like the rate for the 2 person cabins, way to high, for practically a little bit more than a tent.
It was clean, friendly staff, camping kitchen equipments are good and distance to the ferry dock is okay. Toilets and shower are clean. There is a small camping shop for necessary stuff
Not quit spacious but it fitted for one night. If you arrive/depart for the ferry to norway it's okay. If you want to stay more days, pleasd choose another option then the 2-person cabin
Bad
The room was actually a closet - 2 meters by 2 meters. Extremely claustaphobic. Had to stack our bags on top of each other or they would block the door. Could not sit straight on either bunk without banging my head - did that several times. What were they thinking when they built this 'unit'? Might be ok as a storage room but a hotel room???
