It’s a perfect getaway spa resort for those who want to have some rest out of the city. The interior of the resort has a retro style, perhaps interim war period style even, which I especially like. This style makes the resort stand out from all the modern minimalistic spa places. To add, the nature surrounding the resort is exceptionally beautiful, there is a big territory for taking walks and enjoying the scenery.

The prices in the restaurant and the bar were a bit too high in my opinion.

    Price/Quality is good overall

Staied at room nr 212 The window does not shot down properly, so if it it is - 8 outside, believe me, you will feel it during the night.

Professional young man in the reception, nice Christmas tree

Hotel is very worn, towels need to be changed to new as look like were washed more that 1000 times, breakfast which used to be very good now is awful ...

    - easy to reach the place by the free shuttle (or taxi if needed);- the SPA is good and worth visiting.- clean room with spacious shower and bath.

    - ONLY 2 hours of access to the SPA are included in the room price, which is NOT mentioned in the room description when booking;- the pillows were too big and too firm — very uncomfortable.

It's amazing to get from the room straight the the sauna and back.

Half of the surrounding is pretty noisy due to the road, maybe some sound proofs would help...

    breakfast could have been better..)

Everything, from room to spa to breakfast :)

If the price would be lower would be perfect?

The location is outside the city, near a small lake.If you plan to stay here, a car is almost a must, even though they have a shuttle service to the city. The hotel service is good, but I gave up on dinner at the hotel restaurant after an hour of waiting and went into the city instead. The hotel is very child-friendly, so if you are traveling as a couple or a single traveler and expect peace and quiet, then no. If you are with children, there is a kids' club and more. The spa is excellent, the treatments are reasonably priced, note that they strongly encourage guests from outside the hotel, so the indoor pool and the only jacuzzi there are are packed with visitors from outside the hotel and with them a high noise level. During the week I was at the hotel, they were doing renovations that started small, a few banging inside one of the rooms on the floor, and people with paint, etc., but expanded to include the construction of a large wooden structure on the entire floor and an unreasonable noise level. If a hotel wants to do renovations, it should do so when there are no guests in the renovated wing. Parking is packed with visitors from outside the hotel on weekends. Overall, a nice hotel, which could have left a much better impression.

Service at the restaurant.Noise level Construction out side my room

*Quiet, beautiful location — close to the main road, yet secluded and with beautiful natural views.* Generous and high-quality breakfast selection.* Pool for adults and a separate one for children.*Spacious room.Worn-out interior, in need of renovation.*Comfortable bed and pillows.*Bidet.*Several wardrobes.

*Bathrobes and towels are torn.*Stained towels.*Stained shower curtain in the room.*Toilet seat is yellowed.*Bed headboard extremely dusty.*Carpet in the room is dusty.*Several lockers in the pool changing rooms are out of order.*No option to watch internet content on the TV.

Breakfast and dinner were both very good, with a wide choice of tasty food. There was live music during dinner, which created a nice atmosphere. The spa area is pleasant and clean — great for relaxing with family.

The hotel hasn’t been refurbished for quite some time, so rooms look a bit dated. The kids’ room and games area need maintenance — broken darts and no proper rackets for table tennis. Also, no coffee or minibar facilities in the room.

I liked the the price and nothing else.

This time it was way below their previous level. These used to be basic facilities for a reasonable price, with a nice staff and really great full breakfast buffet.- Reception was misleading and not collaborative. They gave me some paper card without explaining what it was for, so I haven't even paid attention to it, left it on the table in the room. As I found out later at the spa reception - I had to bring this card to them in order to get a towel, so I had to go back to the room to take and bring it to them. But it wasn't it, once brought it to them, they said just one towel per card is allowed, while I was with my spouse! After some inconvenient conversation, the staff allowed to take one more towel. The towels were of different colors and obviously overused and outdated - I don't use till such condition in my household, unless as a rag for cleaning. Next day I noticed the hotel wasn't crowded, so asked reception if there is an opportunity to checkout later by 1-2 hours, so not to be in a rush, as we woke up quite late. The answer was - yes of course, for an additional charge we can stay as much as we want. It was the first time I heard such an impolite response from the reception in my entire life and believe me, I've been to many and very different hotels.- The breakfast was not full, half of the buffet was obviously closed. We have missed various basic food, which is usually are offered. The most ridiculous - baked beans in tomato souse, we don't eat it at home, but really like it in the hotels, but for the first time in my life it wasn't offered in the hotel during the breakfast :D- The rooms are totally outdated. In our previous stays at this hotel we were ignoring many things like nice staff or good breakfast compensating some failures. Not his time obviously :) Everything was so worn out - towels, robes, furniture, TV, carpets, everything so overused.

comfortable spa amenities, towel and bathrobe (chalat), very client centric therapist in spa, clear and transparent communication from my therapist - what is to expect now, how long the treatment takes, what's go next) - it was a young male of Egypt origin Lithuania 5 years already (my bad - didn't ask his name)

arrogant attitude of reception staff (i got several surprised and devaluing looks from SPA operational staff. I know - I know - I've appeared there with my rather bid and non-fashioned backpack and addressed them (as it was my first visit to the property) with the questions that may look stupid (where to find a Sunrice restaurant, what is my allowed time in the Vitality Spa, etc). Is it really the reason to star at me with disgust?)

    8WendyPosted on: 9-25-2025

A full service spa, very close and accessible to Vilnius.

I was prepared for the old school charm. There was a long wait for food at dinner IF you could get in, despite there being tons of tables. They were very under staffed

Breakfast was pretty good in the hotel

We felt that our room was not properly cleaned. There was no vacuuming done under the coffee table, and I found dark hair in the bed sheets as well as on the sink. There were also many cobwebs, which gave the impression that cleanliness and guest comfort were not a priority. In addition, the room itself clearly needs renovation—or at the very least, thorough wall cleaning—as the walls were covered in marks and looked neglected. The restaurant experience was also very disappointing.•Our first choice, Bora Bora, was closed.•We then asked the staff to drive us by golf cart to the Italian restaurant, but upon arrival we were informed that due to staff shortages, only pizza was available, with a waiting time of over an hour.•Concerned that this delay would prevent us from making our spa reservation, we decided to dine at the Asian restaurant instead. Unfortunately, the starters arrived after the main courses and were drenched in oil. Considering the high prices, the food did not match the expected quality. It felt weird not to get this information at the from dest upon our arrival and the walk around huge hotel territory to get to know it all by ourselves. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday during our stay and tried to remain positive, but overall the experience was disappointing. Sadly, we would not recommend this place to others.

Location is quite nice. Special thanks to ladies from Bali doing exeptional full body massage in hotel SPA. That's the best part of our stay.

Staff is not flexible, hotel has low occupancy, but late checkout is paid. Decoralion of the rooms stuck in 2000 year, no art on the walls, TV probably also 20years old. Minibar exists, but it's emptly. No additionall facilities in the room like coffe, slippers, shawing kit or anything like that, just bed and bathroom.

    9PiotrPosted on: 8-30-2025

The facilities are numerous and quite nice. Room was huge and comfortable, the bed was great. Great relation of price to standard.

The ruled of when and where can be entered were not clear and not explained during check-in. Sometimes the pool area was being closed. We were offered another one, but there was no such information beforehand

There is a lot to be said about the Vilnius Grand Resort both good and bad. For the good, the hotel staff were for the most part professional and polite, the many facilities provided such as the gym and the spa are top-tier quality (and even the facilities I didn't use, such as the pool and the business center also appeared to be high quality), and the resort as a whole is actually a part of an enormous complex that includes 3 different restaurants, a private lake, a forest, and sprawling landscapes that even includes private apartments and villas for sale; someone who wants to spend their vacation outside of Vilnius proper would likely find the location ideal for this reason as there was a large amount of places to explore. The hotel itself is absolutely massive and it takes hours just to explore it, which in and of itself was an interesting experience. There is also a free shuttle bus to and from Vilnius every day. The breakfast options were both delicious and varied and I especially enjoyed the chocolate bread and the large selection of cheese available. The rooms were quite clean and comfortable and I was grateful for the fact that bathrobes were provided for use as well (and guests were allowed to visit most parts of the hotel in just a bathrobe) and the water being drinkable was a huge plus, alongside the fact that the hotel provided 2 free bottles of water. The overall aesthetics of the property were pleasing and also quite diverse depending on the exact area of the hotel one visits and there was even a wall showing famous guests who had stayed there. Overall quite an interesting experience if anything. And despite the inconvenient location of the property, all of the above-mentioned points would make it ideal for large events such as weddings and conferences as well as large social gatherings.

There are also many negatives about this property. For starters the name is quite misleading as I originally thought the hotel would be in Vilnius as it's called the "Vilnius Grand Resort" but realized too late that it's in a small town called Ežeraičiai (and thus the name is likely a reference to Vilnius County), which according to Google Maps has no direct routes to Vilnius barring car and is hours away from it. Additionally, while a free shuttle bus is available, it's only available a few times a day and the times can be quite inconvenient. And regarding the shuttle bus there was a massive problem that occurred on the 24th when it stopped at a place called Šeškinės poliklinika instead of the usual designated stop at Olympic Casino due to roadwork, but this wasn't communicated beforehand; only when I arrived was I told this, and the bus driver only spoke Ukrainian thus I only knew about this because a Ukrainian family was also on the shuttle bus and they told me; the driver also didn't properly inform us how to return to the hotel as we were told to wait at a store near Šeškinės poliklinika but when I went to the spot at the designated time the bus was not only late but also eventually arrived at the other side of the road and didn't even wait to allow me on (and the next bus would've been 3 and a half hours later); I only made it back to the resort due to the kindness of some good samaritans. That being said the hotel properly compensated me for this incident. Moreover, the wake-up service sometimes worked but sometimes didn't and while my room was cleaned the first time I put the tag on my door asking for it to be cleaned, it wasn't cleaned the next 2 days even though I put my tag on my door on both days in the morning and did so before leaving for Vilnius with the 8:50 bus.
