    Pros +

    • Beautiful edifice, magnificent rooms and surroundings, especially the bath house with limited access and only for adults past 6 pm. One of the largest and varied breakfast buffets I've ever seen, surprisingly quiet despite the families with children.
    • Breakfast was amazing - a lot of local products, organic and also gluten and lactose free options
    • The look from the outside and close location to the train station

    Cons -

    • We didnt have personal bathrooms
    • The hotel seemed fully booked, and sometimes breakfast was a bit crowded and we had to wait to find a table for 1 or 2. But the wait was never very long. It was very family friendly, so if you’re looking for something a bit more romantic, this isn’t exactly the spot. But overall, there really was not much that we didn’t like :) it’s an amazing place.
    • Hospitality of the hotel was very poor. Very disappointed.

Lovely old hotel with very interesting architecture. Great breakfast buffet, lots of variety, and sitting out on the deck was lovely

An amazing old sanatorium type building with all the authentic features, including furniture and light fittings.

One of my favorite holidays. Spent a week here working remotely and enjoying the ski amenities nearby. Breakfast was vegan friendly and delicious. Looked forward to it every morning. Hotel is so beautiful and so charming. Sauna was an absolute delight. Staff were always very helpful and friendly. Thank you Kurhaus!

Spa included, with bathrobes, sauna, mineral water, bubble bath. Awesome breakfast, with pancake station and boil or scramble your own egg. Very beautiful art nouveau architecture. Room comes with a little balcony with an awesome view. Trip with local chairlift was included in the price. Friendly personnel. Very good dinner, which they adjusted for allergies. All local food. Half the menu was vegetarian.

It's a beautiful historic building with a stunning entrance and cute reception. I really loved the building and the little touches that reminds of its past glory. The spa is very good , loved the smell in the sauna , the outside whirlpool and the resting room with a fire stove The staff was very friendly and helpful

The shared bathroom, I understand it was the case at the time and the entrance a cute but one place to wash for the whole floor (of people hiking ) doesn't feels very sanitary. The room are big enough to be renovated with private bathroom. The linoleum floor in the bedroom is not very niceAs I was leaving the hotel before breakfast I asked to have a take away breakfasts but they forgot to prepare it

the breakfast was amazing (including waffle iron). dinner at the restaurant was very good too. nice sauna

    7SusannaPosted on: 6-21-2022

the breakfast was good, although I would appreciate more vegan options. everything is very much animal product based. apart from the dried and fresh fruits ;)

the house and facilities are very old. that might have a certain charme to it, but also some disadvantages: e.g., some taps were not working properly.

Location, Art Nouveau style and architecture, friendly staff, fantastic dinner and breakfast.

It was a little cold in our room and the walls are quite thin. But of course this is to be expected, given the age of the hotel.
