The manager and staff were rude, they requested extra money for AC in the room, the towels were dirty and they did not serve breakfast

Breakfast was not so good, but the room and the view was amazing!

The hotel is stylised like king's or duke's palace, every floor has it's own decorations, this really looks good. The room also was decorated in the same royal style. Bed was comfortable, sheets and towels were clean and smells good. In our room we had problem with drain in sink (water didn't flash), but personal were glad to solve this problem. Personal was pleasant and nice.

Windows in our room were facing houses where were big dogs, they were barking till the morning, that is why we didn't have good sleep. Hotels furniture needs renovation, bedside ottoman barely stands, chair upholstery was ripped, the room has air conditioning but we didn't have remote control for it.

This hotel is beside a forest.The view from our room was great.We had the option to select our room which was a nice gesture .The place is quiet located in a selected area of the town.The bed is comfortable and the water in the shower could be adjusted to be warm and pleasant The breakfast was tasty and generous to give you a good start.I ended up staying another day.

Although I’m not much into watching TV in holidays a flat screen would be handy replacing the existing analogue TV.

Good value for money, close to the location I needed, the room size was good and the view from it was towards the parc/forrest near, so I enjoyed the staying.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel looks nice and is located close to a park. It is very quiet, yet close to the city center (10 min by car).

A very good stay in Zalau at a great price. The room is spacious, and we had a view towards the hills from the balcony, it was really nice waking up to that. The receptionist speaks very good English as well. The hotel can do with a bit of renovation, but all in all it's OK for a quick stay.

The shower only had a fixed showerhead in our room.

Great location next to a forest so you have fresh air!The architecture is classy, the rooms are nice and the breakfast is reasonable.

The location is good but there was no water and air conditioner. The bed was super old and there was nothing else in the room

Looks really nice from the outside and the choice of style has great potential. It's in very good location as well.

The shower had no shower head holder, it was just hanging, it was mouldy everywhere, the drain was blocked not draining the water, the towel rail had months old sticky dust and was yellow, the paint was peeling off the shower tray and showing rust. It had 2 glasses but nothing to drink from it: no water or any tea making facilities but the restaurant wasn't accessible for drinks either. Breakfast was very poor, bread had just come out of the freezer/fridge and no choice, you ate what you were given; what if someone doesn't eat meat/pork? Juice was very cloudy and no coffee or tea varieties.
