Nice Camping at a beautiful location. Nice Lady at the reception and very good internet.

Cleaning and bed sheets are not included in the price. You can bring your own and clean yourself which was no problem for us.

We arrived at the property around 3 p.m., only to find no one at the reception. We called the provided number, and were informed that the receptionist would not be available until 6 p.m. Thankfully, they left a key in the cabin, allowing us to enter. However, upon entering, we noticed an unpleasant smell, possibly from mold, and the bathroom appeared quite dirty. We were very disappointed with the condition and location of the property and decided to leave without staying. We requested a cancellation, but unfortunately, the owner declined. Overall, our experience was highly disappointing.

Not a lot of storage in the cabin

Host was kind and informative. Bikes and helmets were free to use so had access to the two glaciers in the area as well as the town. Joker store in town to well equipped with food to prepare in campsite kitchen. Food is available at the museum as well. The glacier museum was well done and informative. Stayed in the dorm and had it to myself as it is getting close to the end of the season.

Nice camping place in a beautiful valley and just a stone's throw away from a fjord. The cottage was clean and pretty spacious, really good value for money.

Very basic dorm room small bunk beds/old mattresses, lots of camp laundry and general clutter - diy pots etc left around the facilities block. Needed a good clean.

Nice location with a beautiful views. Host was very helpful, despite our late arrival everything was prepared and waiting for us :) cabins with bathroom and kitchen inside so all is in one place.

Location is very nice.Double bed for parents and bunk bed for kids.

Mattresses need to be changed.Kitchen equipment is minimal: no bbq, very small pots, cabin looks a bit aged inside.

There was a minor misunderstanding with a booking which the staff dealt with very quickly. Such nice, welcoming, and helpful staff there. They have bikes free to use if there is any available. They even gave us free linen and chocolate for the booking misshap :)

I would say the rooms could be a little small if you have big bags / equipment. But it was fine for us :)

Cabines are quite nice and comfortable inside.

Absolutely horrible playground for children, not safety. Actually, there is nothing to do in the camping other than just sitting in the cabin. Good museum nearby.

Cute, modest and quiet cabin within walking distance to the Glacier Museum. The cabin was well maintained and furnished, and had a loft sleeping area. Very close to the quaint "Booktown" Fjaerland. The location is fantastic and beautiful. Perfect for one night stay!

The family cabin we received had a design that I noted down in case I want to build my own! It was super efficiently arranged and conveniently furnished and equipped, allowing for a very comfortable stay! We had direct view of a glacier from the living area and one of the bedrooms, and the grounds are right next to the Glacier Museum, allowing you to just walk over. The hosts/manager and staff have been super nice and helpful. We will return, I promise! :-)

The rooms are too close to each other . Noise is an issue. Shared bathroom gets wet floor easily and affects others.

It is centrally situated in Fjærland. The cabin had all the basics we needed.

The bedroom could do with some blackout blinds. The curtains were see through and with the midnight sun it is hard to sleep.

Good value for money

Grass roofed cabins are good value for money and could sleep 4 - 6 (ours had a mattress in the mezzanine). Bikes free to use so cycle up the valley to the head of the glacier - beautiful & only takes an hour ir si (1/2 back down!). Pizza good but check they understand what you ordered - not a fan of pineapple on mine.

Very bad

There was no grill opportunity, no restaurants. The beds was very uncomfortable, no nights curtains in any room. And everything is just to old to be in a good quality. Kids playground seems like 100 years old. Not good experience at this camping. Especially for that money ??

Cute little cabin in the middle of nature. We were here during off season so the owner let us use the bikes for free. We were able to explore the little book town 10 min away by bike and the supphellebreen glacier viewpoint which took us about an hour to get to by bike. We also visited the Bøyabreen glacier view point by public transport so traveling here without a car is not an issue!The private cabin was clean and cozy and the host super nice and informative. We’d recommend this to everyone who enjoys some down time in nature.
