The Originals City, Hôtel L'Hippocampe, Sète Balaruc-le-Vieux

Comfortable beds, quiet but efficient AC in the room. We checked in after hours and the machine didn’t give us the receipt with room number. The person we called eas super friendly and able to sort it out right away! The person at the reception was also very friendly and helpful!

The room is a bit small; we would have liked to have a mini fridge as well.

Friendly staff and the location is great

Noise from the next room

It's a close drive from Sète, good for a one-night stay. The staff is friendly, the breakfast standard but good.

The rooms look brighter and newer in the pictures, reality might not satisfy higher expectations.

Very friendly and helpful staff/owners; free parking in front of the hotel; great seafood restaurant next to the Sea;

The swing/fire doors on the corridors can be quiet noisy, so use ear plugs;

Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Customer service was excellent!

Room cleaning could be improved e.g. carpet not hoovered regularly. Outdoor “garden area’” could have been cleaned more regularly

Friendly and efficient staff, fairly priced, clean, back to basics, no bells and whistles, very close to the shopping center with everything you can need at 2 minutes walk, good parking opportunities, car electric charger nearby

It´s located outside the town in a place not particularly charming. No elevator - if you have mobility problems or heavy luggage you better tell at reservation and ask a room at groundfloor. None of these two things are an issue, but you might want to know in advance.

ok for one night stay after long journey,but it was not easy to find and i could not get connected to wifi,i really needed it

no internet connection,i could hear next door neighbors snoring as they are in my room

the service very bad the room not clean everything was bad the location very poor

Good

Poor breakfast, windows facing busy road, bathroom/shower needs renovation

Cleanliness Friendliness Breakfast ? accessibility good value for money

Small remark: closing of the reception at 22.00

Free parking/ Big room / Air Heater in the bathroom / Good breakfast

There isn’t refrigeration in the room and no drinking fountain in the floor. No lift..

Disappointed in the hotel and lack of customer service from the employees

The rooms doesn’t look like on the pictures, when we arrive rooms had strong smell of cigarettes, bathrooms are outdated, low beds and I didn’t have power in the sockets. This hotel is located in the industrial area.

Spacious room.

Was a bit far from anything, and the shower was tight

Very kind and helpful staff, good but simple breakfast.

Public parking outside (I prefer private parking for my motorcycle). Location is inside the mal - center.

EVERY THING VAS PERFECT. BREAKFAST ?ROOM VERY CLEAN .AND VERY NICE STAFF !!!

Good position, close to Carrefour, 15 min from Sete.

Only one night so can't write anything more.

Staff is very friendly and speaks good English. Breakfast is simple but good and enough. Only one good pizzaeria is open until 21:30 o´clock. ( 15 minutes by foot)

There is no restaurant in the hotel. You can walk to the next restaureant but they all close early. The location is a little bit strange. It is close to big market centers and other big shops. The streets and the houses are like an industrial area, no ambiente.

Very close to the mall and to the highway. Free parking.

Room only. I liked that they had 2 cushion types, traditional and foam/gel. The bed was good and the sheets clean.

A/C at full blast on arrival - immediate headache. Remotes dirty - especially problematic currently. Seat of chair dirty and worn. Other (carpet and bed protection) dubious.

Smelt cigarette in the hall and room
