La Côte Bleue

The room and hotel setting was excellent.

The staff were unhelpful and unpleasant. The terrace was not open for drinks in the afternoon. The restaurant opened too late for us to reserve. And we were not permitted to have a post-dinner drinks at 930 pm to enjoy the view over the pond "in case other diners arrived", even though there were several tables empty. The television didn't work and the receptionist was all alone with no one available to fix it.

Pool area not open ( stayed mid April) even though loungers were out. Buffet breakfast expensive, limited choice as items had run out. Lack of plugs in the bedroom, even though it had been renovated.

It wasn’t our first stay at La Côte Bleue, a very nice little hotel practically located just off the highway. The hotel location, it’s secure parking and lovely staff makes it the perfect place for a one-night stay on your way to France/Spain. The pool is definitely a plus if you’d like to refresh after a long day in the car, and the restaurant is very enjoyable too.

It’s not the most modern, but areas are being renovated one after another and it’s perfect for its purpose.

Reception staff did not inform us that front door was locked. We arrived back at 10.15 after dinner out as the hotel restaurant was not open. We had specifically asked how to return and were told that hotel reaction was manned 24/7 and door never locked. This was not correct and we had to phone the hotel to gain admission to our room and service was not at all friendly. Room, pool and location were good but not the staff. Verny surly and not welcoming.

Everything. Very easy to get too off the A9 Autoroute. Fantastic parking right outside your room. Very clean spacious room with a vey comfortable bath and separate powerful shower. Beautiful pool and an excellent restaurant. An absolutely perfect stopover when breaking your journey.

Check in staff person was very nice and showed us our room.

One staff member was irritated that we did not speak French and was very rude. The hotel has a nice view of the bay but long ways from Sete.

Really good location, beautiful setting. we went out of season so the terrace and pool weren’t in use but we will certainly return in season to make use of outside space.
