    Pros +

    • We expected way more.
    • Friendly staff, great breakfast, fantastic building
    • I is a charmful building, but they did not take out all its potential!

    Cons -

    • We arrived in the middle of the afternoon, there was no restaurant or similar open in the neighbourhood. Dinner at the hotel was buffet. The pool has a very big mouldy spot in the ceiling. Overall too expensive for what is offered at a 4-star hotel.
    • The room was very big, but not furnished and decorated with a lot of love. Also opening the door to the shower, is at least interesting! Someone messed that one up…
    • The warm water water regulation in the shower did not work. There was only scalding hot water. You'd expect a spa to have control of their plumbing. The food on the terrass was bland and I was served a red wine that tasted manure. Other things to think of for the restaurant is to not place walnuts on top of the cheese. It's a sure death if you are allergic to nuts. The extra fee for parking was just petty and mean. Considering the price, you would expect parking to be included.

Very good space, pleasant environment, and also very good breakfast. Already my second time here.

It's a fantastic building and the staff was more than friendly. We just stopped over night so we did not try the spa. There were a generous amount of morning gowns and towels as you would expect. The breakfast table was overwhelming. It was a plus that the hotel allowed dogs and that they helped us with keeping an open can of dog food in the fridge.

This property is so beautiful! We were stunned with the hotel and the pools and sauna area. The staff were also really friendly and helpful.

A good quick stay with good choice of food and breakfast. Parking is also convenient.

It’s a nice location and the outside of the building is pretty.

Rooms are very dated, feels like staying in an elderly home. Very bad refurbishments. We tried making a reservation for the restaurant which was then moved to much later despite the restaurant being close to empty all night. The overall vibe was strange as well as the staff.

Pretty building, big pool, varied and tasty breakfast.

The only room option for us with a kid was a suite, which was quite expensive (220/night). A garage where you can leave your bikes would be nice, seeing as it’s on a popular cycling path.

The old historical building, the service, the park close to the hotel, the SPA and pool and the delicious breakfast!

    Nothing!

I was able to check in early and enjoyed a relaxing swim in the lovely pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

It felt like a place that is struggling - perhaps the closure of the local thermal baths has hit trade. It was a Monday in season but there were barely any guests. The atmosphere at dinner was funereal. Food was ok but not great (fish good but no veg?). Coffee at breakfast merely tepid from the self-service machine. No secure bike parking.

The area and style of the hotel, the inside main hall is impressive!Good breakfast, comfortable rooms, very nice hotelNice pool / sauna facilities

    7MichelePosted on: 5-10-2023

Spacious and quiet room, confortable bed.Very good breakfast with a lot of choice.

The building is huge and, during my stay, it felt unpleasantly empty. The wellness area access directly beside the main entry.

One of the cleanest hotels we've ever been. Good facilities and top location.

Some of the staff really spoiled the experience. The front desk lady refused to speak English and kept responding in German even though she clearly understood English.

Sauna area was renovated - new

old hotel, unfortunately little has been invested and renovated. Especially in the bathroom, entrance and hallway, it is getting on in years. It has lost all its charm and the price/performance ratio is completely incomprehensible. The pool looks also very old and not inviting at all.

Superb hotel for skiing. Location is 50m from skilift. 5mins to walk to skischool. Staff very friendly. Hotel fully renovated including ski/boot room with heated lockers

Nothing really. Breakfast service area a bit small but fine.

Location was great, in a quiet spa town. Pool and sauna area were nice, breakfast excellent, staff helpful, generally very relaxing!

There was some building work going on in front of the hotel so you couldn't get the full effect of the facade, only a small point though, we enjoyed our stay

Super interesting old and fancy building in a super small and tranquil village (at least in winter). Super central, 5 mins walk to every restaurant in town (we tried 3 and they were wonderful!). Sauna and pool were very good, though the hotel is quite big and the sauna can get somewhat crowded. But it was still pleasant and comfortable evens in the rush hour.

Decoration inside the rooms is modern and does not really fit the original barroque(?) style of the hotel. But still okay for the eyes and everything very well maintained.

The reception lady was very kind and helps us with everything that we wanted. Food was nice

It was extremely cold! We could not sleep! The windows were closed, but we felt the wind. We became a small heater, but at night it was impossible to sleep. And to go in the sauna you should be without any clothes. This is crazy! We could not use it.Also very few parking places!!
